One seed didn't germinate. In the middle of the week, I have started to germinate another seed (photo - empty pot). The new seed started to germinate nicely.

What do you suspect the brown spots to be caused by?

No idea, if the plant is older, I would suspect, overdosing on the nutrients but on such a young plant, I really don't know. The good message is, that it is not spreading and the new leaves are free of it.
