We received our clones today, two purple punch and one super lemon haze. This will be an interesting grow, to see how the plants differ and what the flower time will be like for both, but it is a challenge that we are up for. We are excited to get this girl transplanted into a bigger pot so we can watch her grow!
We have transplanted our girl to a 3 gallon pot, as she is thriving and getting bigger each day. We are thinking about moving the plant into a 7 gallon pot for the remainder of the grow.
Today we did a big defoliation on our plants, including Super Lemon Haze. This plant has been a little bit tricky to work with in regards to training. The plant seems to want to grow in a christmas tree fashion and we are trying our best to slowly coax it out of that and spread it out. It has taken patience but we are slowly getting there. Definitely an interesting plant to watch grow. The defoliation should really help and allow it to thrive more.
Not a lot of updates this week. The plants are growing well and Super Lemon Haze is coming along slowly but surely. She is still the smallest plant in our tent right now but that is a bit of a blessing is disguise because we don't have enough room in the tent to really let it grow huge. It is definitely getting larger though and the canopy is starting to fill out. hopefully we will see more significant growth in the coming weeks.
Wow! Super Lemon Haze is getting quite large now and really starting to stretch before flower. The defoliation performed a few weeks ago seems to have really helped and allowed the plant to focus its energy on the top sites. The canopy is filling out and there is more dense foliage on the lower branches. She will be ready to flip to flower soon.
First week of flower and we haven't noticed too many changes to the plant as of yet. She is slowly starting to stretch more as the days go on and we are noticing small bud sites start to develop on the stems of the plant.
Super Lemon Haze is looking great now! We have been giving her flower top dressing and we have started watering with unsulphured organic molasses which will help the soil life and microorganisms and in turn, help produce larger buds. We gave her a defoliation and some lollipopping to really get some hormone action started at the top of the plant. we want it to not focus on the small bud sites near the bottom that won't turn into anything. We want the plant to just put its energy into making fat colas now. This plant has stretched a ton since flipping to flower and we are hoping to see a bit more growth in the coming weeks.
Super Lemon Haze is looking fantastic as she finishes up her third week of flower. She is starting to look super frosty on her main cola. This particular clone is Canuk seed genetics so we are looking forward to the final harvest and some nice crystal covered buds. she is probably finished stretching at this point, as she is 27 inches tall from the soil. we are watering every other day at this point and have been feeding with molasses to improve the soil life and to increase our yields.
Super Lemon Haze! What can we say, she's looking great. She just finished up her fourth week of flower and is looking super frosty! While it is not the biggest plant with tons of bud sites, the main cola looks like she's going to be a real beauty. We would love to try and grow this plant again with some better LST this time to see what we can really do. Oh well, that's a future grow. We finished her flower top dressing as she is in her final 4 weeks (ish) of flower and we want her to use the nutrients from the soil.
Super Lemon Haze is looking great, she is beginning her 5th week of flower and we can't wait for her to get into the later stages. The main cola is looking super plump right now and still has some time to go before she's done. We wanted to do more LST to this clone when we got her but let it go too long and we are trying to get the most out of this plant. We have been trying to spread out the branches with the trellis and it has worked out okay. She is really starting to smell of pungent citrus, it smells delicious. Several more weeks to go for this one.
Feb 25 - We installed another trellis to support the top buds since they are putting on some weight now. Super Lemon Haze just keeps getting bigger day by day, which is so nice to see, since we know the yield on it won't be crazy high. But its all good, we expect a really nice smoke off this one, and its such a great smell already. Very sweet, almost sugary with a definitive citrus bite. Once we get our two purple punch plants out of the tent, SLH will have more room to spread out and thrive.
Feb 26 - Finishing up her week strong, she is swelling more and more as the days pass. We cannot wait to see all the growth that will happen in the future with this one. On to her 6th, of probably 11 weeks. Definitely a long grow for this one, but should be worth it at the final harvest.
Super Lemon Haze finished up her 5th week of flower and is now starting her 6th of probably 11. She's looking really nice and plump and is just getting fatter and fatter as the days go by. Super frosty looking and just chugging along. Not much to update other than that. Tent humidity was a little out of control the other day so we got a dehumidifier and that sorta solved the problem.
Super Lemon Haze is maturing really quickly it seems. She smells absolutely amazing and now has some extra room in the tent, as we are harvesting our purple punch today! We have finished the top dressing and molasses waterings for super lemon haze, as we figure this girl probably has another 3 weeks left on her after finishing her 7th week. She is looking super frosty and the buds are crazy dense. We cant wait to harvest this one in a few weeks
Super Lemon haze now has a ton of room in the tent to get light to her lower bud sites. she was a bit cramped in the tent earlier with purple punch but hopefully in her last few weeks, she will thrive! she has finished her 7th week and has started the 8th. We are thinking 3 weeks in total from here on out, but we're going to be keeping a close eye on her. The buds are super dense and frosty, we cant wait to cure this one and smell it. while there is not much bud on this one, the buds that are there are juicy and dense.
Look at the trichs! Day 30 of what? Like 120ish days roughly? She looks good there friend, I like the look of those true sativas, the leaves, i dunno what it is but I like the sativa leaves compared to indicas.
Anyways, 👍 I'm going to follow this one bud.
@OrganicCannabisConnoisseur, I meant day 30 of 100 and something.? Sativa flowering in all LOL I should've made it a bit more clear. Looks awesome though bud! Keep on growing!
@Sloppy_OH_Tee, Day 30 of flower! Sorry, I should probably edit that to make it easier. We flipped them after 47 days of veg, and now they are on day 35, so 82 days total, mind you she is a clone. I agree with you on the leaves, they're really unique. Thanks for the follow, happy growing 😊
