Maybe, add some phosphorus (cellular energy, like material sunlight, kinda) and carbs/sugars/oils, like specifically. I dunno what your nutrient mixes are like so it's kinda difficult to speculate regarding that, very tentative "advice".
The thing with topping (though other forms of stress too) is that it irreversibly alters the plant hormonal balance and function, so you can get kinda weird results at times. Aside from that, In general, my feeling is that people often use too much magnesium and potassium (curled, very dark leaves with colour gradiation, many nodes, smaller fruits).
