Zambeza misty gorilla is about 3 weeks in flowering and in veg for 1 month and half.
I added 3 misty to one big pot... And bent and tied them to create a more even canopy and less fluffy buds.
Fed on seaweeds and rabbit manure and Epsom salt.
Leaves have started to turn yellow too early, I think they did not like strong light and since I pushed light back up they regained some green....
I know I made mistakes and stressed those misties too many time at the beginning because I had to change grow room and hide them often... But it looks like they will perform anyway.
Trichomes production started 3 weeks in flower, already leaves coated and sticky, lovely cheesy smell in two of them and one in more piney and fungus smell, not very nice...
They are losing their green colours fast, they are fast flowering and pushing trichomes like mad, it seems she will finish fast but not too bulky and all sticky.
2 Smells and look very similar only one is much smaller, cheesy and pungent
the other one is more thin looking, and has smaller leaves, lots of trichomes production early on too, those have a little grey shade... She smells like pine and fungus, not very nice but smells like a strong medecin!
She is flowering well even if bigger leaves have turned yellow too early, she is had 5ml seaweed and spoon Epsom salt with 1 ml of flowering bloom. Do not need much because this is recycled soil from my last grow and lots of rabbit manure is still present in substrate.
Will reuse this soil to grow some chilli bubble gum 7 and courgettes plus tiger tomatoes this spring.
Lots of trichomes on those misty girls, they do carry their name well, all 3 are different but are all coated, like the 3 bears one is papa the other mama and Little one lol, looking different yet little one is similar!
Well the end in sight and just in time! One more week for the big one and going to harvest the medium one, she finished quicker because much fluffier and thin yet did lots of trichomes with pine and liquorice terpenes.not my preferred pheno, genotype, too piney and too light.
The two others smell exactly the same, cheesy, pine and a dash of sweetness, packed with trichomes, especially one who made some sollid looking buds with nice pleasant smell. I regret not taking a cutting. From now on I am going to keep the best performing specimens so I can get to know them better and become a better grower. I want to make a better diary so I can track the same plant through different techniques and grow methods, I always wanted to but illegality made it difficult to keep a mother!
Fed only water and a spoonfull of bat guano.
One more week before I harvest the two last one, already harvested the fluffy one, she was very fluffy and sticky, some badly needed meds until the main one finishes. She smells of pine and sweet earth, not my cup of tea but you can smell the medicinal qualities... If one can say that...
Harvested second Misty, few leaves are pretty Rosay color and lots of trichomes everywhere! ,+this one smells sweet hint of pineapple with strong cheese funk and a dash of pine.
The first one I harvested a few days back is dry and curing in a jar, I am sure not for long!
Buds are fluffy, I knew it was too early... Yet they are coated with trichomes she still gave me few lovely buds, with smell of pine, a hint of skunk and sweetness. Lovely high, strong and cerebral.
One of the misty is still maturing will be harvested t in a few days.
Very strong strain, loaded with trichomes and extremely sticky. I tested it by smoking a roll up made of part tobacco 65% and the rest misty gorilla grinded. Even with tobacco I could still taste the pine and cheese so in my book high level of terpenes, I am guessing at 5 to 6 %, nice aroma of pine and cheese and earthy tones are released when you break apart bud and even more after grinding, on the inhale
strong pine and savoury, also strong expectorant... Instant back pain relief, I have a bad back and this strain helps release tension and pain. Good for watching movies, take some popcorns because it is an appetite stimulant!
Not too difficult strain to grow, does not like over watering at all, some phenotypes/genotypes have pinkish trichomes and their leaves tend to take pink to purple shade at fall, some are more fluffy than others due to small calixes but they make up for it by being extra sticky and coated with trichomes, the best pheno I got was really beautiful and vigorous to grow, strong smell and bang on high.
Also she produces a good amount of buds in 8 weeks even in not the best of environment so I will grow this strain again in the future.
she is beautiful your flowers me they are very thin compared to yours beautiful work (I have a question you say what smells of pine mine she smells of citrus why they do not have the same smell?)
@Luxus15, if you look in my diaries I already grew Misty and one looked like yours and the other had light pink trichomes, so pretty but they take forever to bulk up, so patience and your lady will develop too!
It is normal for cannabis from the same batch to look and or smell different, it is like brothers and sisters from the same parents yet looking all somewhat different... That is why people are pheno hunting and cloning, in 10 seeds maybe 1 will look a little like the descriptions given by breeder!
