Switched plants into permanent home, a 5 gallon plastic pot. Jack Herer was last planted and has just sprouted. Critical Purple showing great growth and Amnesia Lemon looking happy with leaves standing straight up.
Tied them down overnight, then decided to try topping technique instead of LST. Will wait to top jack until she has another node, can’t wait to see how they react.
All doing well after being topped. Mainlined branches day after topped, then just tucked fan leaves to expose the bottom of the plant. Hopefully adding scrog net week 4 and plan to switch into flowering around week 5 or 6.
Starting week 4 by lowering scrog and bending some branches, slightly weaved the branches through anywhere they would fit. First time using a scrog net executed to see the results. Thinking next week will be last week of veg
One week since flipping the switch, Amnesia Lemon has really taken off(back left). Brain cake still not showing any signs of buds but everything looking good. Started feeding 25 ml of botanicare pure blend pro per gallon.
Week 2, smells amazing inside. Brain cake and amnesia lemon my top 2 as of now. Any tips on defoliating during flowering would be appreciated, don’t want to hurt overall yield but getting crowded in the tent blocking some middle and lower bud sites.
Hi fella, bud candy is formulated for hydro, it is used in soil as well, it's basically sugar with a few added bits in there which feeds the microbes in the soil. Molasses will do the same trick for a fraction of the price but that's not what you want to hear!!! A tablespoon per gallon of water should see you right, you can use it now through till around week 6ish, hope this helps 👍
Added another fan for more air circulation, plants seeming to love the environment and are doing great. Smell is pungent and nugs are starting to swell!
Buds are starting to get dense, brain cake smells potent and amnesia lemon really getting a lemon smell to it. All in all a good week exciting to see buds swelling!
Jack Herer nugs have swelled up nicely, critical purple and brain cake have a nice terpene profile and are getting some purple colors. Amnesia lemon putting out a pungent lemon smell, will be great for extracts with amazing flavor. Also looking like it’ll go an extra week before getting harvested with the others in 3 weeks.
Critical Purple showing beautiful colors while jack herer has some huge nugs on top. Amnesia Lemon has an amazing smell and awesome trichome production going on. Favorite smell in the tent has to be Brain Cake! Sweet but also pungent, with small dense nugs everywhere. Took them outside for some pictures, critical purple and brain cake getting close to finished while amnesia lemon and jack here look like they could use a couple weeks.
This week critical purple was cut, brain cake will be next! Everything has to be cut by 31st of this month so hoping the jack herer will finish up in time. Amnesia lemon should be ready at week 15.
Found amber trichomes during inspection today, immediately chopped and hung. Buds are average size and dense as hell! Pungent smell almost a glue with some cake. 9 weeks and 4 days into flowering. Can’t wait to taste her.
Last night with lights on, going to try 48 hours darkness with these two. Just flushed one last time with cold water, can’t wait to check the trichomes next couple days for some amber coloring. Both Jack and Amnesia have a lemon smell, Jack has an earthy tone as Amnesia has a sweeter after tone. Will be 10 weeks 1 day into flowering when I cut in 2 days.
Leaving out of town for 2 weeks, decided to cut and hang entire plant and leaving all leaves to make for a slow dry. Hopefully come home and be ready to trim up and get ready for the cure!
Huge nugs with beautiful crystals, couldn’t be happier. Same as amnesia lemon going to hang entire plant for 2 weeks until I’m home to make sure it’s not over dried before I get home. Will comment on tastes and effects once I’m able to try!
