Planted both these ladies in my cupboard on 18 August 2020 and both germinated on the 23rd August 2020
Sunset-Sherbet
The seedling has germinated and looks strong.
Do-Si-Wine
The seedling has germinated but looks long and yellowish. (Raised the light by 5cm to see if the light wasn’t too strong).
By nighttime the seedling grew up straight and strong.
30 August 2020
Do-Si-Wine
Growing well leaves are developing nicely, 2nd pair of leaves forming
Sunset-Sherbet
Leaves are big and growing up towards light, 2nd pair of leaves forming
7 September 2020
Sunset Sherbet
2nd cola grew with 3 leaves, looks big and very “indoor”
Do-Si-Wine
Stem is long and and fragile, 2nd cola leaves only 1 leave, 3rd cola coming out looks like she gonna give the 5 leaves.
Stress training the plant keep the plant as low as possible.
14 September 2020
Do-Si-Wine
3rd pair of colas are 3leave, looking very healthy. ( 7cm length leave )
4th pair of colas are 5leaves, very small now but look very nice.
Sunset Sherbet
3rd pair colas are nice and big 5leave pairs ( 11cm length leave )
4th pair of colas coming out very nicely, a lot of details. Plant is looking very healthy overall
21 September 2020
Sunset Sherbet
Very nicely stress trained, stem is about is .8 / .9 cm thick
2nd pair of colas reached the main cola’s length, therefor lst’ing the side branches lower to even the canopy -
and let the higher cola’s branches grow bigger.
Leaves are nice and big, biggest leave ( 14cm length )
Overall the plant is looking very well and healthy with light green leaves
Do-Si-Wine
Lst’ing the plant very nicely in a spiral vibe, giving nice exposure to the lower branches.
The 2nd and 3rd pair colas have reached the same height as the main cola, showing lst is working exceptionally
Leaves are very, very, very Indica like with dark green and very wide leaves, biggest leave ( 10.5cm length leave )
( It’s quite interesting seeing these two different strains grow SIDE BY SIDE, while the Sunset-Sherbet 🌅🍬 is growing very strong with a thick stem with gigantic leaves, while the Do-Si-Wine🎶🍷 Is growing quite lengthy but very sturdy with branches creating and maintaining a nice even canopy. )
30 September 2020
Sunset Sherbet
Plant is growing very strong and the bottom 3 cola branches are being stress trained to all edges of the pot, this helps -
with all the branches being exposed to the light and to grow the same height as the rest of the canopy.
The stem is of this plant is growing really thick 🍑 about 1cm thick
Leaves are big and strong reaching ( 15,5cm length )
My experience with growing Sunset Sherbet so far ( Week 6 Day 2 )
This strain from Cape Ape Seeds is actually so good, just the plant itself is a bright lime green and the nugs it will carry is going to be Frosty Purple❄️💜 nugs. By growing this beautiful strain so far it has grown very healthy and just in general very fast, this plant has no problems so far and all it wants to do is continue growing.
Do-Si-Wine
The Do-Si-Wine is growing very well, a very moderate growth as it says in it’s subscription, but none the less still a very grow so far.
The bottom 4 colas are all stress trained to the edges of the pot to ensure each branch from each cola gets to grow outwards in its own space and to get more light.
The stem is about 0.7cm thick which is not that thick compared to the SunSet Sherbet.
While writing this I noticed my she has SNAPPED from her previous stress straining session, I was checking out the stem thickness and noticed the main stem had snapped. But luckily this is not the first this happened and I know how to fix this. To fix this all you need is some tape, now see if the plant didn’t completely break off you can still tape the plant back together and the plant should heal itself within a few days, although I need to wait a bit before I stress train this one again.
She started making pistols🤗, but I’m not sure if this is because of the snap or if it’s getting ready to start blooming.
All the side branches from the bottom 4 colas are all nice and long growing at a nice rate.
The leaves are nice and strong reaching ( 11cm in length )
My experience from growing Do-Si-Wine 🎶🍷 from Cape Ape Seed seed bank is very good so far, on the site it says moderate growth difficulty and it is quite accurate compared to the Sunset Sherbet’s easy growth difficulty, it’s quite fun working with a moderate growth because the plant needs more tending to, for instance the side branches are thinnish and need to be stress trained often to reach the end of the pot, the plant is also very stiff because she snapped without me realising and had to tend to the break a day later.
Also while growing this plant I noticed that the plant’s leaves are very dark green and the bud it’s going carry is going to be white so I can’t wait to see how she makes her buds.
09 October 2020
Sunset-Sherbet
This lady has fully recovered from her last snap 😁
From last time she snapped till now I haven’t stress trained her in a while but now this morning I took the tape off and it barely has a scar there.
This plant is becoming harder to stress train, as if after the break the break it grew A LOT stronger and much more prone to breaking when I’m stress training, because there is a lot resistance when I tried to bend the branches in the way I needed to stress train them.
Leaves are absolutely huge reaching about ( 16cm length )
Overall the plant is looking very healthy and growing really great even after her recovery within a few days it hasn’t stopped / slowed down at all.
She is starting to go into the pistol phase now and looks absolutely great, can’t wait to get scrog nets and when my plants are big enough.
Do-Si-Wine
This lady also fully recovered from her previous snap, this one was more severe than the Sunset-Sherbet, where she snapped off I tried to tape the 2 points together and use string to support the main cola to grow together again. She did but grew a big growth knot, and even thought it’s not the prettiest, it is still a full recovery😁
Do-Si-Wine is growing a bit lengthy with here side branches, already reaching ( 20cm in height ) the two branches, not sure how to even out the canopy because I can’t use scrog nets yet cause the plants are too young and the other branches needs to catch up a lot.
Leaves are looking very dark and super indica 👅 ( 13cm leaf length )
She is going into Pistols mode like crazy, by the main cola the pistols are reaching about, 1cm in length 🤯 and reaching about every cola there is on the plant so far, lady going crazy.
12 October 2020
Sunset-Sherbet
This lady growing very bushy, did some defoliation and still a bit crazy with all the leaves everywhere. I’m trying not cut the fan leaves at all but rather tie down the leaves lower than the branches exposing all the lower branches and their colas to more light.
Stem is about 1.2cm thick and is absolutely stinky.
Only pistols started and will soon continue through making buds and start making THC.
The 2nd cola after the snap didn’t grow sufficiently at all because the length is really shot about ( 2cm long ) and the other branch of the same cola grew normally. This could be because of the snap or because the fan leave is off for that branch.
Do-Si-Wine
This lady is doing exceptionally well, reason why after her snap all here other branches started growing real quick and kinda long, well two of the branches actually reaching at ( 23cm height )
The branches of the lower colas aren’t necessarily thick but actually quite thin and stiff, therefor making it harder to stress because the stems are thin and snap easily.
While this girl is growing pistols like crazy and she is about to start doing her budding, she smells absolutely delicious just like her sister the Sunset Sherbet.
19 October 2020
Do-Si-Wine
This lady Is growing like a champ, I trained the main cola a bit off to the side so that is why the height hasn’t gone up a lot.
She is getting real bushy-ish with leaves everywhere with pistols sprouting / forming everywhere, pistols are on every lower branch and their nodes, colas. Like a pistol paradise.
( I do have a little dilemma with this lady, I ordered this strain because it was a regular feminised seed just the like the Sunset-Sherbet strain I have. But she already started flowering at Week 6 which means that this is an Auto-Flower. Now I wasn’t too sure how to approach this cause I bought these strains off CapeApeSeeds.com and I like their seeds. I emailed the team and they unfortunately said that the reason that may have caused this lady to start making pistols earlier is because of the stress training or it could be the snap that happened a few weeks ago. But I don’t understand cause my Sunset-Sherbet suffered from a much severe snap and hasn’t started pistols since way later. So my dilemma is now that my two plants won’t be more or less the height and I only have one light for both ladies… Time to wait and see how this un’grows’ 🤓 )
The two really tall branches reaching as tall as ( 30cm ) which is quite a bit taller than the main cola, but all is well she is growing at her own pace, even though she isn’t gonna grow much taller, she only gonna stretch out a little bit more and then start full flower. The canopy is nice and level, I’m very satisfied with how the canopy is looking, I just need to stress a couple more branches the edge of the pot.
Sunset-Sherbet
This lady had quite the growth spurt this during week, growing very strong and stretching out all the branches getting ready to go into flower.
The first cola’s branch has reached the same height as the main cola, while the other branches are more or less the same height as the rest of the canopy, the only two that excelled was the main cola and the first cola’s one branch.
I’m coming to an end on my stress training because there is only so much as I train for the plant shouldn’t be growing much taller than it is already, I’m expecting another 10cm at most.
She is starting to make pistols but she isn’t producing pistols yet to all the lower branches.
27 October 2020
Sunset Sherbet
This week the lady is started to get threaded through the scrog by here main cola, the scrog is doing a nice job by keeping the canopy the same height and making sure that the rest of the branches catch up.
Only two of the branches has made it to the scrog net while all the other branches need to catch up.
The rest of the plant still needs to stretch the last bit to reach the scrog net.
Do-Si-Wine
This lady is going strong with pistols still every, probably showing sex and not ready to go into flower yet.
A lot of branches trying to stretch to the top of the scrog net to maintain even canopy.
I am tying up all the branches to stretch more upwards to the scrog net to help the branches out and to get more exposure.
3 November
Sunset Sherbet
Well by the week this cupboard is just getting smellier, danker and bushier. Vey good I’d say, most of all the branches had reached the scrog net and most of the branches has already been threaded through to maintain the same height.
While flipping to flower I noticed that the Sunset-Sherbet is making a lot more pistols due to this but not as fast as the Do-Si-Wine plant is making pistols.
( biggest leaf 17cm 😵 )
Do-Si-Wine
This lady while growing vigorously to the top has thin stems which it makes more prone to bending / snapping but luckily haven’t had that problem het of a side branch bending while threading it through the scrog, but I did notice that the branches are a bit more fragile.
This lady is making pistols like no tomorrow, every cola / node I can see is making pistols and this lady just wants to go full throttle. On the site it said that this is moderate growth difficulty and yes it is, thin branches, fragile and long lengthy branches.
( biggest leaf 14 cm )
10 November 2020
SunSet-Sherbet
Well this week is just another week by now, this lady has been threading through the scrog throughout the week and I believe this lady has finished here stretching and is in full on flowering mode now. Normally a plant stretches the first few weeks into flower to stop the growth and use the nutrients it’s getting now is used to store in the nugs and not the growth anymore.
Each cola of each branch has reached the scrog net and has a decent amount of light exposure due to the fact that I only has one light for 2 plants and the spread of the light isn’t the best.
Started making actual looking hairy heads with the on them 😁 the leaf spread is just getting a lot.
Do-Si-Wine
This plant is doing splendid due to fact that the long and stretchy-ness of these branches has reached the scrog net above and beyond which makes it a lot easier to thread through the scrog and to get as much light exposure as possible for more thicker nugs 🤓
The heads on this lady has started making THC 😁 the nugs are starting slowly to turn white which is very cool, because the plant is a dark green with WHITE nugs.
One branched has snapped which is quiet delicate and grows above the rest if the canopy and causes shadow from on
the bottom branches.
17 November 2020
Do-Si-Wine
This lady is absolutely covering herself in THCA, the leaves and stems are covered in THCA and looks really fluffy / frosty ❄️
Did some defoliation as-well on this lady and looks absolutely staggering.
Starting to show really nice shape to the buds.
Sunset Sherbet
Has started to make really nice heads and smells absolutely dank😍
Done a bit of defoliation to the to top part to expose more light to the other heads.
Having this second light will really help boost the yield and make the plant a lot more healthier.
24 November 2020
Sunset Sherbet
Sunset Sherbet is looking very hairy with quite nice bud structure so far.
The hairs on these nugs are very long and thickish with fuzzy hairs all over it.
The terps are absolutely insane in this strain 😍 smells very potent with terps of Sweet, Citrus and Zesty.
Smells beautiful.
Another 5 - 6 weeks until this lady is ready for harvest.
Do-Si-Wine
Do-Si-Wine is looking toooo Frosty ❄️
With nugs looking not that bug and as structured as the Sunset-Sherbet’s this lady makes up for it in THCa, she has a lot of nodes with long hairs and crazy amounts of THC covering it.
Even though this strain is frosty so far it doesn’t really have a odour yet, if you rub the stem and smell your fingers it doesn’t have that much of a distinctive smell.
Where the Sunset-Sherbet is absolutely stinky.
Give it time and this lady will also structure more sturdy looking and denser buds.
This strain also has another 5 - 6 weeks left till harvest.
01 December 2020
Do-Si-Wine
This lady is just getting frostier by the week and looks really beautiful, very white frosty thcA and orange hairs coming out.
The nugs are getting a lot thicker as-well giving more of smell off which smells very nice btw.
Did some more defoliation on this lady and light penetration is a lot more efficient as well
Sunset Sherbet
Week by week the nugs are just getting thicker and more frosty.
Throughout the week I did some nice defoliation on this lady to expose light to the lower bud sites to ensure that the nugs will yield a bit better.
Thickest mug so far is 4cm in width and is 6,5cm in height and smells absolutely dank🔥
In general this lady is doing very well and smells very potent to the touch, I’m just waiting to see this strain turn purple as the genetic is.
Another 4 - 5 weeks left until harvest.
8 December 2020
Sunset Sherbet
The buds on this plant are getting big and smells very potent with their terpenes.
Still doing defoliation throughout this lady’s flower cycle to stop lower growth and to make popcorn nugs more dense and is possible with more light exposure.
Tuesdays I feed nutrients to my ladies and I use Seagrow, one cap of Seagrow in a 1L bottle and fill up with water and feed 500ml each plant.
Thickest / Biggest nug in the cupboard is on the Sunset-Sherbet with 7cm height and 4.7cm in length.
Do-Si-Wine
The nugs on this lady is very, very dense but is a bit smaller compared to the Sunset-Sherbet but a lot more dense.

Another 2 - 3 weeks has past and this lady’s buds are getting more dense and dense.

22 December 2020
Both of these ladies are almost ready for harvest, not really much to update.
Next week I will remove the scrog and and start flushing these ladies ladies for a week.
This strain Sunset-Sherbet was apart from my first ever indoor cupboard grow.
Growing this strain was really fun and also quite easy. This strain has bright green leaves and grows nice developed thick stem throughout as well.
The problem I faced with growing these two beautiful ladies is that they both have snapped, here are the notes on that day.
1 October 2020 (Week 6)
She snapped… 🤦♀️🏼
The morning I was trying to tie down the main cola to the pot and what happened is, the previous time I stress trained the main stem was a while ago and the grew tight against the rope and that caused it to become a weak pot of the stem. So as I was busy tying the top cola there where the previous stress was, it broke.
It was a pretty clean snap but some of the branch is still hold on, with this I simply taped it together and used rope to knot it tight, I also used a stick to use and tie the branch and stick together for support.
What I noticed what was quite interesting when I taped branch back, the side of the branch that didn’t break off completely was still providing growth to the leaves while the other side started getting weak and flimsy.
I never would’ve guessed it would still be able to provide growth and still heal the snapped off part.
This was my very first indoor grow in my cupboard with my 1 strain Do-Si-Wine and the other 1 Sunset-Sherbet.
Growing the Do-Si-Wine was very fun and this strain especially is also quite tricky to LST because during the Vegetation the plant grows long and slinky, because of this I experienced a snap on week 6.
(Here are my notes of the 6th Week)
30th September 2020
( 11cm in height )

(Notes Done)
So when I harvested on the 29 December 2020 (Week 19)
I have definitely learned a lot about this strain, this strain is extremely exotic and is impossible to find and growing this strain was such a blessing as well being able to smoke top shelf exotic weed straight out of your Cupboard
