Received 4 plants of unknown genetics from a friend. Three of them were very young. The other looks to be a few weeks old. They were in a window sill and were only watered. I put an LED light on them for a few days until I received my tent and 315w mh lamp. Excited to learn more about growing.
Coming along well. I am trying to be as accurate as possible with my info. Wish I knew exactly how old they are and what their genetics are. This is my practice run. Just ordered some feminized seeds (Northern Skunk and Blackberry Kush).
-I only water every few days. I feed every 3 watering's.
-I've been playing with some LST clips I ordered from Amazon along with FIM'ing and Topping.
The smell has really gotten stronger over the last few weeks. Glad I got a carbon filter and blower. The wife would probably shut me down without it.
Still growing well. Thinking about starting flowering soon due to the space I have. Still reading a lot and learning from others. I think it is going well for my first time. Any opinions on when I should start flowering?
I changed my nutrients to a blooming formula and shortened the light schedule down to 12 hours a day for the last week. It is already showing the slightest signs of starting to flower. Enjoying watching the plants grow and change. Never realized how much goes into it until I started.
Plants are growing strong and are really starting to flower.
I had to build a base for my tent. It added 18” of vertical grow space. I didn’t train my branches aggressively enough and let them stretch due to light issues at the beginning. Rookie mistakes. I’ll do better next time .
Flowers are looking more and more full by the day. Looking at a stepped harvest. I have lots of small buds on the lower branches that I want to give more light and time to.
You should definitely start flower soon. 9 week veg is a long time and doesn’t look like a lot of horizontal growth happened. Expect more stretch in the first few weeks of flower. That’ll take up more height. Good luck!
@AccyStoner25, Thank you. That what I was thinking. I started training too late and not enough. Got a good light too late and had it too high. Lesson learned.
