Sadly did not take care of her well during vegetation, but she bounced back and now ready for flowering.
She was bent to permit top flowers and defokiated all under canopy.
Using Jacks magic soil with little old timer grow added to water at each watering almost...
Had some spider mites problems, but they are under control, I shape shift into a lady bird and hunt them under the canopy... Will spray with soapy water with little clove oil before flower formation. Will add some worm cast and maybe some guano later on.
Lovely strain to grow, can take a lot of beating, Lst to Hst she can do anything you want of her! Love this Jamaican girl because she finished so fast, in 7 weeks I could have pulled her but decided to let her finish in peace and with a little tlc.
sh rewarded me with nuggets coated with sticky trichomes and with a sweet pineapple scent!
Have kept a clone
Added worm cast and pruned lower side growth, bent top and defoliated heavily under canopy. Still undecided what flowering nutrient I will use... So much choice... Between buyin guanakolong flowering guano or old timer bloom or bio bizz?
This week she is much happier, I think she really liked Jack's magic potting soil!
I will add more pics of her later.
Bought some bat guano from guanakolong 1kg will use this for flowering.
Took some cuttings few days back.
When you rub her a strong orange peppery skunk aroma is released! Where are those orange terpene smells comes from I wonder? ++Lovely.
No problem so far with added guano and worm casts to Jack's magic potting soil, she is happy so far, I do not see spider mites but going to spray a mix of diluted nut soap before she start to flower more and will keep a close eye on her. From now on I must removed all infected older leaves.
I am bending her here and there to keep her canopy even. I find it hard to prune those lower ud sites... Grrr I am sure I should but I feel I might lose weight... Thought I am going as hard as possible!
Older leaves are still green but when you look through them at the light I can see lots of little spots, I am thinking they were too weak due to not enough nutrient in the too small container she grown in, and possibly photons damaged stomata... Next time I must make sure I change to bigger size pot in good time so she develops healthier and so stronger leaves!
Luckily all the new leaves are healthy, I am wondering if I should cut those damaged leaves or wait a bit the plant might redirect some of the nutrients/components from that dying leaves to other parts?
I will remove when they look more damaged.
She started to produce lots of flowers and trichomes even on new fan leaves.
She smells lovely, like parsley and strong orange, almost some patchouli!
Older fan leaves are going to be chopped soon because they are peppered with tiny brown spot, not yet too visible but they have been stressed and I doubt she is going to heal them she is too busy producing flowers and trichomes, lovely clementine and parsley smell so far. Only water and I top dressed with a handful of bat guano and worm casting. Not to be redressed until in 2 weeks and last time until harvest.
This week I have added a hand full of guanokalong powder and same worm casts and watered 1 and half liter water with few drop of apple vinegar with mother, little lactic acid with micros cannot hurt... Can it?
We will see...
She already has damaged fan leaves due to heat stress and probably pH issue, she recovered but not the older leaves, purple leaves stems and they are always praying... I guess she is praying for a better environment haha
She is covering herself with trichomes, it is so pretty.
Those trichomes are very dry, no resin/sticky only of course if you rub and burst trichomes.
Lovely Hawaiin wreck offspring! terpenes are smelling like parsley and strong clementine, I hope she develops a little more funk.... Anyway it is lovely. Thank you Mary!
Edit= I have just realised a pineapple express from Zambeza are not the same as those from humbolt seeds, their genetic are very different, Zambeza says it stems from a Jamaican... Yet I cannot see which parent they are talking about... I have to ask zambeza
She is flowering at a nice pace, her older leaves showing damage occurred 3 weeks back, too much light she could not handle at first... I must learn and control myself, more does not mean better, especially with my environment I cannot push my girls so hard, no amount of nutrient, or magic something can rectify those parameters and so I must reduce light intensity and watering regimen must be reduced/adjusted also...
I need some zen in my garden!
Started to swell a bit, but I can feel she is almost done and is running out of gas, just few white hair popping here and there but mostly most of her hair are orange trichomes mostly white cloudy but no Amber yet so will wait until those show their noses!
Water only
She turned all yellow and some red fade colour on sugar leaves, still popping flowers here and there and maturing those small but coated with trichomes buds, she looks like and smell like pineapple chunks, not the strongest of smell I am guessing at 5 to 6% terpene? Lol I wish I could test my own gear and not guess like that...i give her a few more days and then harvest time!
