Mr_Gezeta -Hello mates! I'm here again with my second grow ever. Last grow was amazing and I want to try something different for this time. -I will try to grow 5 Crystal Candy XL auto in 18l pots. -This time I mixed the soil this way because I think I will get better results this way -50% Heavy Mix top crop -20% Coco coir -10% Light Mix Biobizz -10% Worm Humus -10% Expanded Clay. I'm really enthusiastic with this new grow. Wish me luck😎🖤

Mr_Gezeta 02/03/2021. The plants are watered with 200ml of water 2 times a week. For now, the plants aren't asking for more; the roots are still weak. I'm thinking about adding root complex for the next watering, although being in 50% heavy mix will cause the plant to become saturated. For now, I'm sticking with just watering, since theoretically, the heavy mix has all the necessary nutrients. The substrate is composed of 50% Heavy mix 20% Coco 10% Worm humus 10% Clay balls 10% Light Mix

Mr_Gezeta 11/03/21 I water them all with 200ml of water, without nutrients. The plants seem to be growing satisfactorily. In a week, I will start doing LST and I might do an apical cut on all of them next week or the following one. 14/03/21 -The plants are not giving any problems. I was away from home for 3 days and they are bigger than when I left. They don't seem to have any deficiencies and everything is going well. -I have watered each one with 300 ml of pure water, without any type of nutrient. I might add something for the vegetation in the future, but my initial idea is to start with the nutes from the flowering stage. 19/03/21 -I made the apical cut on 4 of the 5 plants. -The next task will be to do a slight LST so that all the branches I’m interested in are at the same height. -The plant that I left without the apical cut I will cut next week, as it was still too small to do it.

Mr_Gezeta 23/03/2021 -I apply LST to all of them to direct the branches that I want to get light and thus correct the shape a bit. -I water all the plants with 400ml; they hadn't been watered since Friday morning. -The largest plant measures 30cm tall and the smallest 20cm. -The smallest one is the one I did the fimming on. It's my first attempt with this technique, and I'm only doing it because I don't have much faith in it; it's not very tall but has a strong stem and branches, though. -I haven't used any nutrients again; for now, the 50% heavy mix seems to be doing its job. 26/03/21 -I watered each plant with 450ml of water and added 2ml of Hesi TNT to the total mix for the first time to see how the plants react. I really don't see that they're lacking anything for now; I just want to see how far they can go. -The fimming I did seems to have come out "wrong." That is, I don't see any fimming anywhere; they just grew 2 tips as if I had done a normal topping. I don't know if they will develop differently in the future, but it doesn't seem like it. -On the other hand, there's a leaf from one plant that is starting to have yellow edges; it's most likely an incorrect pH in the watering. I'll correct it the next time I water. -In general, I see the plants doing very well; they are growing very fast, much faster than those from my previous grow. It seems like it will be a quicker grow, although I don't know yet. I'll have to wait for flowering to see.

Mr_Gezeta 31/03/21 -The plants are measuring between 30 and 40cm. -I have watered each one with 500ml of water. I added 2ml of Hesi's TNT complex to the total mix. -The plants have strong stems; I'm trying to direct the branches to get as much light as possible. -I think they are starting the pre-flowering stage; the smaller plants are growing every day. 04/04/21 -I water them with 600ml each. The total mix contains 5ml of TNT and 5ml of Hesi Bloom. -The plants are measuring between 30 and 40cm. There are 2 that reach 40cm, but the rest are about 30cm. -The little LST I do is to open up the branches well so that light can reach all of them. 06/04/21 -I do a bit of defoliation on the larger leaves since I believe the branches have enough leaves not to lose strength if I remove these leaves. -I do a bit of LST to open the nodes and make the canopy as flat as possible. -I water them all with 500ml of water and 1ml each of TNT to help with the defoliation I did earlier. -The fimming I had done didn't convince me, so I cut the tip, leaving it with 4 possible branches instead of 6. Let's say I either didn't do it right, or it doesn't develop the same in autoflowering as it does in photoperiod strains. End of the Fimming adventure.

Mr_Gezeta 12/04/21 -We are almost in week 6. -The watering consists of: 5 liters of water, 2.5ml of calmag, and 0.2mg of Big Boom, to see what results it has and if the plants suffer, since Big Boom is my first mineral nutrient. -I defoliated some large leaves that were covering the buds.

Mr_Gezeta -I water them with 1.7 liters each. -The buds are fattening up little by little, it's only the second week of flowering and they all seem to be doing well for now. -They are growing much faster than my previous grow, I don't know how long the flowering will last but at this rate I'll finish before the 15 weeks of the last one.

Mr_Gezeta 28/04/21 -I water each one with 1.7 liters of water mixed with nutrients. -I reposition the leaves so that the light hits the buds directly. -One of the plants has some yellow leaves, although I imagine it's due to a pH error or because they are covered by larger leaves. -I don't do much more care since the plants seem to be growing well and without problems. This grow is relatively easier than the previous one. So far, I'm very happy with Crystal Candy XL auto.

Mr_Gezeta 06/05/21 -I watered all the plants with 1.8 liters of water and nutrients. -The buds keep fattening little by little, especially noticeable in the lower ones, which are now full of hairs. -Some leaves are yellow, but I guess it's because they don't get enough light. The ones that are worse are the ones I defoliated, plus 1 or 2 leaves per plant that cover some buds. 10/05/21 -I watered the plants with 2 liters of water each and nutrients. -There’s a slight burn on the upper buds of one of the plants, maybe because the light was too close. I was out for 4 days and couldn’t correct it. -Overall, the plants are still strong and without any problems. 11/05/21 -I don’t know what happened, but when I opened the cabinet today, one of the buds from CCXLA1 was covered in mold. I noticed because 2 leaves looked a bit rotten, and when I touched the bud, it was very soft. I put on gloves, cut the bud with scissors, and inspected the plant for other possible signs of mold. It seems there aren’t any more, so I’ll leave the plant for now. I defoliated it more to allow for better airflow. -I don’t understand how this could happen since the relative humidity of the grow never exceeds about 57% and is generally maintained at 50%. -Now I have to keep a close eye these last few weeks to see if more mold forms that could ruin the harvest. Mr_Gezeta 05/13/21 -I watered all the plants with 1.8 liters of water and nutrients. -I have defoliated the plants quite a bit since 2 days ago I discovered mold on a bud, so I prefer to defoliate and prevent it from happening again rather than leaving them as they are and having it happen again. I cut the bud immediately, and for now, it seems that it hasn't spread to the rest of the plant. -The trichomes are mostly 100% milky, and there are 2 plants that are starting to have orange ones. In 2 weeks at most, I will start with the first trimming, as my intention is to harvest in 2 batches, the buds on top first and then the ones on the bottom.

Mr_Gezeta Unfortunately, due to the botrytis episodes, I had to cut all the plants. -The trichomes are all white, and although I didn't do a two-stage pruning as I wanted, I didn't make any cuts out of time. -There are thick and hard buds, and even though I won't have 100% productivity as I would have if I had left them for 2 more weeks, I believe the quality of the buds will still be good. -Now I'll wait for them to dry to weigh them, and when I can, I'll give details about the flavor and sensations. -Thank you very much to everyone who helped me with this grow. Sooner rather than later, I hope to grow again; if I don't do it in July, I'll do it again in September.

-A diferencia de mi anterior cultivo, las northern lights, estas se notan mucho menos pesadas al fumarlas. No se qué porcentaje de sativa exactamente podríamos decir que tiene (En teoría es Índica 60/40), 50% más o menos. -He obtenido 175 gramos en total. 1. 40 gramos son de calidad normal/baja 2. 70 gramos son de calidad media 3. 65 gramos son de muy buena calidad

Mr_Gezeta 31/05/21 Since the beginning of the grow, these seeds have proven to be of superior quality. Incredible growth, no stops, and they can handle everything. I have to say that I hardly used any nutrients, never more than 0.6 ml/liter of anything, so you could say they almost grew naturally. About 35 grams per plant on average makes it a very good choice. I think that by doing apical pruning on all the plants, I ended up with fewer buds, but the ones I have are thicker, which is why I've had problems with mold in the last weeks of growth. However, I have to say that I 100% recommend Crystal Candy XL auto from Sweet Seeds if you want good production, big buds, and a total grow time of 3 months. When I went home for the weekend and came back after 2 days, the growth was really noticeable. I don't know when I'll do the next grow, but since I still have 2 more seeds of this strain, I won't hesitate for a second to plant them again. This strain is a sure bet. Thank you all so much for helping me with the questions I've asked and for all the supportive comments I've received. I love this site for managing diaries and the rest of the growers because, in general, it's a friendly community eager to help you. Thank you very much! I'll be back to grow as soon as possible.
