Spectacular Sour Chemmy Bears

reirrac1 She’s sprouted! She’s been stretching a little, so I’ve increased the PPFD to 480 in the hopes that she’ll slow down a bit. Healthy otherwise :). Broke the soil 2/20.

reirrac1 She’s growing tall! Stretching vertically pretty vigorously, going to top her to get her to grow laterally very soon. Already started full strength feeds and foliars and she’s doing great!

reirrac1 She’s been branching out steadily after the initial LST and adjustments, and I’ve got my VPD honed in better this round so she’s been praying! I love to see my girls healthy on nothing but organics, no matter the size.

reirrac1 Lateral branches shot out quickly, and after laying them down she had stopped stretching. A bit shorter than I would have liked, but I’ve got 4 more seeds so next time I’ll top instead of LST. Either way, she’s stacked tight and the canopy is even. Ran into some mild N tox at the end of veg/ during transition. Flushed her out with microbes and I’ll be switching to bloom nutes next feed. Excited to get her started in flowering!

reirrac1 After the colas stretched a bit, she’s been turning into a bush! Already excited as I see tight stacking on all colas, going to start defoliating next week to reveal flowering sites.

reirrac1 Did a lot of defoliation and larf removal over the last week, and she’s set to finish flower! Excited to see how thick she’s gonna get over the next few weeks.

reirrac1 Thickening up fast! She’s right on pace with my other plant the same age, and the flowers smell strong of bubblegum and gas. First time I’ve had to be cautious about the smell of my tent, with two maturing girls in there it’s like a skunk died. Regular defoliation to open up light penetration but nothing else new or of note.

reirrac1 This girl has gotten exceptionally thick and juicy over the last two weeks, and she WREAKS of juicy fruit gum and pungent gas. The trichome coverage is rivaling double grape at this point, and I’m more than ecstatic that I’ve got 4 more beans of this left! I might top her next time around, I’ll probably get a more even canopy that way. Either way I’m very happy with her :)

reirrac1 Trichomes are starting to fill up and stigmas are starting to curl! This thick lady is gonna be done by the end of 12 weeks. I wanna let her go just a little longer to allow some of the trichomes to mature. The smell is intoxicating, like sweet bubblegum, chemicals, and skunky cologne. Super dense trichome coverage. Everything else I’ve probably said before lol. In the home stretch.

reirrac1 The thickening is complete! Into the ripening stage we go smelling like sweet bubblegum candy and chemically skunk cologne. Although she ran into some N tox late veg into early flower, she didn’t seem to care! Extremely thick and relatively dense buds, next level trichome coverage, and lowers that look like some of my tops when I first started growing 😂 Super satisfied with these results, and I have 4 more beans of this strain to run! She’s ready to chop now, but I want to allow my Cookie Monster (SamOG x FS) to finish drying first before harvesting this one.

reirrac1 She was a very easy grow, just a little LST and she took off! Buds are each 2-3” in diameter and absolutely coated in trichomes. Gives off a scent reminiscent of sweet bubblegum and gas with notes of herbs and mint. Relatively dense flowers, very even stacking, and a healthy appetite. Will run this strain again soon.
