MissMolly March 1- Space queen still yellowing. Been feeding balanced water. Tested run off PH 6.3 TDS 680. Flushed with water some more. Tested others. All have higher PH so maybe not able to absorb nutrients. All plants were gently flushed and will adjust nutrients on next watering.
March 3 - Ohhhk. Here we go. Things aren’t getting better. Did some more reading about coco growing. I wish I read more sooner.
- I have upped Fish Fert to 45mL/gallon.
- Added 2 tsp Epson salts / gallon. Hopefully just temporary until magnesium is saturated in coco. I should have buffered coco first. But there is room in my EC for it so why not. Can’t hurt?
- EC is at 930(TDS) (water is 150 of that)
- Upped CalPhos to 10ml.
- Added some worm casing as a top dressing. I am watering 1-3/4 cup for large pots and 1/4 cup for smalls.
There is run off. Run off is lower EC (560TDS) than going in. Will continue to monitor

MissMolly The start of week 5 is looking brighter. Plants are recovering big time. I have given two feeds with CalMag and what a difference! The color is back and the growth is picking up. I will likely veg another 2-3 weeks to allow more time for recovery. Some tips are yellow and dry on bigger pots. I suspect it’s from the transplant shock and too big of pots. The others don’t show the same signs.
March 16- plants seem to have bounced back so I cut their heads off! Topped the unknowns March 15. Hoping to flip them quickly and weed out the males. The four fem seeds are still struggling. I over potted them. I topped one and left the rest to see how it handles the added stress. Reduced the Fish Fert to 35ml/gal from 45mL/cal. Tips are looking a little yellow.
@MissMolly, yea coco coir a learning curve and way different then living soil
Don't really need to buffer, mind you it helps
Looking forward to the update
Adjust your water ph after adding in the fertilizers to around 5.8-6.1 your medium more coco coir then soil it'll help the girls out on their nutrient uptake, be prepared to do more watering in flowering phase, pots can dry up quick when they're busting up on the flower development
Following
May your girls come around and be healthy happy ladies

@SaiyanLettuce, do you grow in coco? I liked soil as it was pretty forgiving and I have a busy life. I’m not convinced I’m ready for the commitment or investment in a watering system. We’ll see how this grow goes. Then decide.
@MissMolly, Apologies for the late response
ATM I'm currently using coco coir and perlite mixed 50/50
Been gardening off and on for yrs so have experience with living soil, hydroponics, auqaponics an organic growing
I'm NO expert haha just enjoy growing
Yes the investment into hydroponics is intimidating.
I use a Auto Pot System really easy and versatile just fill and forget mainly ... Still best to check the ph and pot bottoms for water every day or other day
Way easier then living soil in my experience so far.
Welcome to check out my breeding journal I'm growing in coco an manually watering
