NYC x White Widow

Leaves started yellowing. Maybe pH is wrong 😑.

I found on forum some threads about solo cup challenge. I said to me it will be more fun right? I also read that small space for roots mean lower height of plant in the end. These photos are from 1.2 - 3.2.2021 That yellowish tips of leaves are driving me crazy to be honest, I also did some research. Sorry for my bad English, I’m foreign from Europe.

I started with some LST. That week I didn’t have that practical silicone wire for better modeling my grow, BUT I’ve been creative.

I have to confess. I did turned on the light to 12-12. I don’t know what I was thinking, really. It was turned on for maybe 3 days and then back to 18-6. Causes that my little teenage girl was about to flower.

I was considering if I start a new diary because I start growing white widow. But this first time growing for both strains and for me is completely new thing so I’m keeping this in one diary although it’ll be little bit chaotic with data. But for me is important see progresses in one album - diary.;)

I started with LST training before and now continue with some strings about some colas. I have to say, that NYC is not looking very good but I think it’s because of my mistake to switch to 12-12 for 3 days. And now is starting flowering and also I don’t know anything about my pH. That’s option two.

She’s growing slowly but as in our language are saying: “slowly you can go further”. It’s word-to-word translation so if you don’t get it, it’s normal. I didn’t do defoliation, but I delete one big leaf so little colas could get some light bellow.

I also have to say, that my weeks in diary are not a really weeks but just photoshooting for another days. Sometimes are four days between photoshooting and sometimes White widow is growing nicely. Without problems. So I’m glad for that. I’ll start LST with her maybe in 7-10 days...

Because this is my first time grow, I don’t know how strong can flowering plant smell. But because I’m trying to grow stealthy

This time I got bunch of photos for you. As I’ve wrote before, I do some LST with NYC. It’s slow process but I see progress. I tried to ties with garden canopy lane without harming my baby’s little colas. This my first time growing. I assume that you know this nice feeling of caring about your first grow. That new experience is very uplifting, don’t you think? If you want, and If you are in the mood for share your thoughts about growing philosophy I would like to see you point of view. I think it will be nice to see what community awe are here. Does anyone grow NYC or White Widow autoflower seed? :) High and Hey🤪😙

I upgraded to whole new silicone garden wires. I have to say it’s pretty practical. Also the most important thing is, that I started LST with my little honey White Widow. I looking forward to see how little colas will be bigger and bigger. If you would have questions or some tips for me, I will be glad to see them. ;)

Soooo this week was for me and my girls full of improvements. I started use garden silicone wire for better modeling colas. Also little colas from before week are bigger and bigger. I added 3-4 earthworms for each pot. Sooo roots should be more airy, maybe. I tried one new technique. It’s ponytailing upper new growth to achieve more light for so little new colas. As I mentioned in the weeks before, this is my first grow and I don’t know how fast are flowers growing or blooming(?) but I would welcome to hear your opinion. Btw these photos are from 27.2. So NYC is celebrating 1 month, approximately. White widow is maybe like 19-20 days old. Aaaand for fun I added to album a photo of White widow vodka (30%) with real canopy in the bottle. It’s in our Cloud9 superstore (hahahah).

I’m trying to keep plants down in same height with LST. This week is all about showing photos from my DSLR. In these series you can see my stealthy closet. I tried to catch little trichomes. NYC is so small because I was firstly doing solo cup with her... but later I change my mind and add her to another little bigger pot.

The first photos are from yesterday. The other ones are from today 2.March. So NYC has four colas with four main flowering buds. Two of them are bigger than another ones. This strain is my first grow. BUT my second growing of White Widow is doing great, for this time. Finger crossed. Today I did some changes mostly by HST technique. (If I’m not wrong.) i think it’s called topping. So now I got 8 growing colas. WW is probably 20-22 days old so I think LST with HST is still good things to do. On first photos you can see WW without doing topping from yesterday. I also showed detail of topped end.

I think that recovery from HST topping is plant taking very well. Hope NYC will be having at least 2g. What do you think? :)

Today I was doing some LST with White widow. When I looked on the oldest colas, from they are going new ones. That’s for me little achievement.I’m learning everyday something new.

5.march 2021 NYC keeps flowering and fattening buds. She’s also very thirsty. But her pot is very small. (It was something like solo cup challenge at first.) My second grow White Widow is doing surprisingly well. I think she is completely healthy, don’t you think?

White widow started flowering. I noticed that yesterday 6. March. She has 8-9 colas. :)

I can tell that NYC buds after touch smell like citrus. I’m giving her maybe one week to harvest. What do you think? :) But trichomes are milky/cloudy, sooo that one week will be enough I think.

Today 15.march I took some photos with my DSLR and some flashes. Also macro of trichomes with macro-rings. I also mentioned before, that I'm trying to stealth grow. So I got closet in closet. Also six PC fans. Two of them are from CPU so they are pretty fine strong. I got lucky with neighbours, because we dont have any close houses around us. But stink is strong. My brother can smell it, when he's home. It's little bit scary and interesting that my dad can't recognize that smell, obviously I think. But I also got in closet one fancy scented electric thing. So smell isn't that obvious. But still... for those who know that smell is nothing to recognize. After two months of closing my door on my bedroom my dad still don't know what I got in closet. :D

When I saw that my trichomes are great milky/cloudy I cut for tasting.
