Getting ready for the summer grow season! Purple Kush is my favorite strain so I'm excited. Soaked the seeds for a few minutes in hydrogen peroxide to soften the shells. Then into distilled water over night. Tomorrow they will go in the paper towels to get the tap root going. Then into pots to get started in time for a top, mainline, hardening off and transplant on May 10th. All three seeds cracked! One was slow to open... I was about to give up on her but then today I saw that there was a little curled up root. If all goes well, I'll have the last baby in the dirt tomorrow.
I agree to greenthumb. Just aquickwash into baking soda helps, and buds dry very fast, it kinda dehydrates the weed.
and its very easy to cut afterwards( wet and dry)
That is some beautiful soil! I have five autos started right now that I am trying to grow outside but the weather keeps me on my toes. I am keeping everything in containers this year because the climate just won’t switch over to Spring. Smack dab in the middle of the States and it keeps going from beautiful to freezing. Crazy stuff, I can’t even get a twister that I’m used too by this time. Inside ,outside, I need some sunny days.
That is a very nice garden setup. You are are very good gardener AnneJ, I like what you do and that’s why I follow your postings. I am really interested in this strain especially from the last time you grew it, that was an amazing plant.
