Germination
This is my first grow! Seeds germinated at ~78F in spring water in a dark room for 14-18 hours. I then transferred the seeds to paper towels per Crop King's recommendations until tap roots formed. They were were transferred to 3 gallon soil pots for the rest of the grow. Not much else to say until next week. Stay Tuned!

Two white widows and two northern lights made it. One seedling didn't pull through, so I planted a Grower's Choice gorilla glue auto to take it's place. Because that one will be one week behind these, I'm leaving it out of this grow journal. Just watering about an ounce or so per night, plus about 8 ounces of water toward the outside of the pot to raise humidity every couple of days.

Things are going well, I think.. They are really starting to grow now. I added a very small dose of BigBloom for one watering, and a very small dose of CalMag for the following watering. All other water has been pH'd from the tap (~150ppm). My light is only at 400W for now, but I'll be turning up to full 600W power in a day or two. I do notice some mottling of the White Widow leaves, but not on the Northern Lights. not sure if this is is because of stress or just a phenotype. They are growing fast and don't show any other signs of distress, so I'm just leaving them alone. I'll see what the one small feeding per week does. Some of the Northern Lights are showing some slight leaf curl, likely due to either heat or a possible overwatering yesterday. I'll keep an eye on it today, and I'm going to really let the soil dry out quite a bit before another watering. I feel like the plants are big enough now that I can relax a little when it comes to constantly monitoring humidity and making sure roots stay moist. Time to let those roots search for water/nutes! See ya next week!

Started lst this week and watered with a 1/4 dose of Fox Farm recommended nutes for this week. I noticed a few bug issues, so I ordered GrowSafe, sticky traps and ladybugs. It's not bad yet, so I hope I can catch it.

Watered until runoff with ph'd water. Whatever bugs I have (either thrips or aphids) did slightly more damage, but the two applications of growsafe seem to have worked! And just in time, as the bigger plants may be showing signs of flower. I'll save the ladybugs in the fridge until needed.

pics were taken an hour after lights off and a heavy watering/feeding, so they are droopy. They look fantastic though! I have ladybugs all over the place taking care of any bugs and I haven't had issues since using growsafe and ladybugs. They are doing well, and continuing flower. sticking with 1/4 nutes.

Lots of white hairs everywhere! Looking really good as far as I can tell. Lowering temps at night to get darker purples to come through. Will continie to feed 1/4 nutes every other water. Tons of bud sites everywhere. I think 4 plants would be perfect for this tent. 5 is pushing it.

Help! Is this pest damage and what kind? I have about 100-200 ladybugs in the grow tent, and have for about a month now so I would be surprised if it were aphids. The damage is not extensive but there is a little here and there. Cant find anything under leaves.

I don't think its pest damage, more likely your touches or branch to branch from strong wind. What would worry me more - the look of the plants, they are unhappy , ph issue or overwatering would be my wild guess. Good luck !

Trichomes coming in and hairs are starting to turn orange here and there. I didnt water all week because I overwattered last week... first grow and all... I only fed calmag today with a light watering. Only a few weeks to go until harvest, and all things considered I'm pretty happy with how the buds look so far.

I was having heat issues in the tent so I had to turn the light down to 400 watts. Better ventilation would fix the issue so I'm working on a solution for my next grow. Thing seem to be progressing well. There are fan leaves dying on each plant, which seems normal compared to other grow diaries. I may feed one more time this week and then stop all nutrients for good! Hairs are turning orange, but trichomes are still mostly clear still. They all seem about 2-3 weeks out.

Ugh I'm battling high humidity durring late flower. I'm basically growing in a garage, so it's very difficult to controll temps and humidity. I have a decent portable ac unit that dehumidifies the air intake to some degree, but even with that the humidity never drops below 40. Its got me very worried, especially with all of the aging leaves throughout the plant. I have two fairly string fans in there and lots of ventilation, so maybe that will carry me through? I dont have cash for a big room dehumidifier, so I have to work with what I've got. Google offers a bewildering range of advice when it comes to humidity, but the consensus seems to be to get RH below 40 for late flower. Advice from experienced growers is soooooo welcome!

What's up with these leaves? Night temps get down to 62-64F. About week 7 or so of flower. Giving 1/4 fox farm flower nutes every other watering, calmag or ph water in between. Day temps in high 70s low 80s.

Every other watering ? I would advise in the later stages if you wanna maximize your yield to feed whenenver the medium is dry its her telling you shes in diar need of nitrogen if you want to clear them yellow leaves up and get them back to green though looking at the maturity then its maybe worth waiting and feeding her. Have a look at fox farms feeding table that will give you a good idea of what to give your plants week by week for every week that way you can pretty much perfect the nutrients in all weeks maximize optimal growth through the plants life cycle :) Looking very sticky anyway pal great going and best of luck for whatever you decide to do :)
