Antothemechanic Ph the cubes to 5.5 and soaked for 8 hrs. Put seeds directly into cubes and covered over. Placed under lights so they get light straight away on the leaves. I planted 5 but only have room for 4 so will pick the strongest ones. My system is 60 litres and I use rain water sterilized for 24hr with h2o2 and hydroguard is always in rez. My starting TDS is 0030.

Antothemechanic Hoping to see the roots come out the baskets and into the solution. They are getting along nicely so far.
Roots touched solution day 15.
I have some slight deficiencies but I have been expecting it as I've experienced it in the early stages of dwc before. I'm not to bothered about it as I expect to to clear once the plants are established.
I'm also deliberately not adding any extra calmag to see if the softwater formula doesn't need it.
Plants stayed quite low week 2. No stretch to find light so my investment in Mars Hydro TS3000 is looking like a good idea.

The deficiency is still in the lower leaves but the new growth is looking healthy and green.
Il keep the ph 6.2+ for a few days then let it drop naturally.
