Week 7 of flower!!
I lowered the A&B feed with hopes that the leathery-shiny-green will go from the leaves, not expecting it to happen overnight but should start seeing a difference in the coming few weeks.
Ace seeds says the flowering period is 12 weeks, with 4 weeks left to go i an hoping whatever buds have started to form will thicken and gain some weight.. The process is so slow it is literally torturing.. Would be nice to open the tent every day and see something new but im stuck with the same old stuff every day, the changes are so minimal that its not even worth documenting.
After all the research ive done i am convinced i have a little mutant. The stems of the leaves are making little buds, some stems have 2 or 3 growth tips going and some just the one, out of all the mutations i couldve gotten, im happy i got this one!
I dont know how the scrog is going, i dont know how the plant is growing, i have nothing to compare to, i am heavily relying on peoples feedback and opinions mainly on my other diary on UK420 since this is my second ever grow and first ever time trying these techniques, so trial, error and notes, all for myself. I asked loads of questions on my previous grow, all of which proved to be unnecessary/ irrelevant to what i was doing.
4 more weeks to go before i can chop this goddess.
Drying/curing will be exactly like with grinspoon, slow drying over the course of 10-15 days and a slight cure over a week before i can sample a few nugs. The rest will stay curing for the next month minimum. I have had loads of buds from friends of friends that have their own grows and almost all of them smell like Hay, i dont want my delicacy to smell like hay, so ill make my best effort to produce quality! after all, all of this will be for myself and my wife, might as well be proper <3
@Ferenc, Yup it is getting heavier and heavier, I had to tie some branches to the top poles xD
not very long to go now.. I will start taking closeups of trichomes in 2 weeks time.
Hi DreamCatcher,
Ooo.. What a nice main-lining !
Is your nice plant still 38 cm tall ? I tought it would strech much more.
I plan to grow some Ace seeds( malawi / golden tiger) and guess what...follow your diary with much interest :)
Thank you and good grow to you.
@@Weedelfe, Oh absolutely, comparing to my previous grow and attempt at scrogging this one is properly made.. Dr.Grinspoon kept stretching until the very last 4 weeks and that mesh screen that i used did nothing at all xD
Will definitely fit inside the tent, im expecting the stretch to end in the next 3 weeks, with 7 weeks left to go it feels closer than ever :D
@DreamCatcher, Thank you for your answer. So, if I'm not wrong, it is +/- 50 cm tall (soil to tallest cola) meaning that even if it still stretches a bit the height remains quite manageable indoor !🙏
@@Weedelfe, Hey man thanks! I really appreciate the interest and the kind words! :D
And yes, the tallest cola stands 36-38cm above the grid, im pretty sure she will stretch a bit more, but also put on some weight.
There is a lot of talks about ACE seeds being one of the best quality seedbanks and so far they havent dissapointed ^_^
Hi mate,
Thanks for your diary.
I'm a big fan of the ACE seeds strains, and I have special interest in this one. Actually I'm growing some others from ACE too.
Good luck with your crop @DreamCatcher 💪👊
@DreamCatcher, my xperience with this seed bank is good until now.
What I like most is they put the focus in the preservation and improvement of original landraces from allover the world, instead of mix and remix again and again the same comercial old strains. They do a good breeding job, and is the only bank I know publishing the THC and terpenes analysis from external laboratories.
The strain you've chose is in my wishlist 😉
@Sativfaction, Thank you! This is the first time im dealing with ACE, so not really sure what to expect, people keep saying its a good seedbank with good quality seeds so, ill have to wait to see..
@GMSgrows, No i havent, my RO filter gives me water at 6ph, after i finish adding nutrients into it the ph drops immidiately down to 5.7 and over the course of a few seconds it will stabilize at 5.3 on my reader. The plant seems to be okay with it so far..
@bioaccessory,
Hey man :)
The pot is sat 11cm from the ground, the pot is 35cm and the grid is 13cm above the pot. Total, the grid is 59cm off the ground. It was less, but because the stems started splitting (you can see on some pictures) i had to raise it a bit so it wouldnt be resting on the plant.
