It's the start of week 14 overall and week 8 of flower! Just plain water from here on. About 1 L a day after I've flushed her in the tub.
I'm a little bit worried that I'm starting the flush too early but need to make room for the new plants! We'll see how she goes this week.
I've got close up photo's of the tri's on the end of the week 13 diary page - mostly cloudy (I think!).
This baby is starting to smell now. Had a non-toker come and do the smell test around the house and it appears we're good for 1 mature plant at least.
You can really smell the lemon on the buds, and there's somewhat of an outdoorsy (but not overly weedy) smell in the hallway.
Some of the leaves are beginning to dry out and curl downwards. I've included a photo of these, I chopped them off after the tree picture.
Is this just standard for the end of flower? Or does it show a bigger problem? Any feedback is appreciated on this!
Really looking forward to harvesting now. Looking for that daytime smoke from this one - Will keep you updated with pictures of the trichome's towards the end of this week, then, chop time.
This is my first attempt ever and I'm pleased with how its gone for the most part. A lot of changes to be implemented in the new auto grow I've started!
Update: 9th, I've just changed the lights to run 11/13 instead of 12/12 after some advice on here. They seem to be producing fresh bud, and I'm planning on harvesting at the end of the week.
So hopefully this light change will help ripen them buds a bit faster.
Update 2: Half way through what I thought would be the final week, so I've posted update pictures. We're coming up to week 9 flower now.
I'm noticing new pistols being formed all over - top buds, lower buds. New growth is fantastic but I started flushing yesterday, ready to harvest for the end of the week.
Is it usual behaviour for the plant to be forming new pistols so late in flower?
Yes, new pistils late in flowering is common in sativa or sativa dominant plants, such as amnesia plants and their variants.
Often going to 11/13 is the only way to stop sativas "re-flowering" and to get them to finish maturing.
Hope this helps,..........
Organoman.
We've got a bit of a lean going now from the weight of the top buds - should I support it upright with string or leave it as is?
Is this a sign that I'm almost there?!
@404NotFound, about a week to go on mine but only just seem to be fattening, mine also still growing leaves, given mine a good flush with newts, starting to see the fade she is a hungry girl.
She got 1 maybe 2 more light feeds and then the flush..
Fingers crossed for us both and thanks for following 😀
