We're on to another breeding by the name of Exotic Seeds. Say hello to Green Gummy.
Water until the seed sank to the bottom with a tap. About 8 hours.
Paper towel to finish.....
This girl isn't willing to wait for the soil she's growing regardless. Ha ha
my first exotic seed strain is green gummy and so far so good.
She was quick off the mark when it came to germination so hopefully she will be quick off the mark when it comes to making big buds
Gummy G aka Green Gummy auto is growing well so far.
I'm really looking forward to what the Exotic seeds genetics have to offer.
I keep singing "Gummy bears... Bouncing here and there and everywhere.... We are the Gummy bears!" an 80s kids tv show
so far so good for Gummy G. 👍 I can't complain yet
Thanks to some rearranging of growth sense this girl has been given a prime spot in the main grow cupboard.
so far so good for green gummy. Perhaps a little lanky even though she is in the main grow tent but only time will tell whether that is an issue are not
Obviously not much to say at this early stage of the game.
She is a plant, that is growing but the question on everybody's lips.........
..
.
Will she make it to harvest without being neglected,? Where so many have gone before her and failed, only to be left with wilted brown leaves three or four days later, give or take a day or two?
Tune in next week to see if Gummy G has survived another week in Herbie's house.......
Gummy G is under optimal conditions, as far as optimal can be in Herbie's house.
I've got to be honest with you I am very excited by the name just because it sounds cool
The Great Gummy G is looking good so far.
There's not much to report, to be honest, except the usual she is growing fine.
I'm looking forward to seeing how she develops, for sure 😉
Gummy G is getting to the point were I'm thinking I may need to do a little bit of training.
other than that not much to report another solid grow week from this girl
Gummy G it is looking like she has the potential for some massive boards for her short size which is going to be very interesting over the next few weeks
As predicted last week, for her short size. This girl is getting some big buds!
as usual, she's under the standard cheap household LED bulbs bot from a shop for 1 pound English money each. Not a popular technique agreed, but it seems to work for me
I think it is about time on this girl and will be harvesting her shortly.
she has been a good grow so far and I can't complain.
She's a little short, but so are miles are plants which I think is more to do with the heat we've had the last few weeks where I live as opposed to anything else
I forgot to do pics before drying her.
I guess we don't always see a blessing in disguise and perhaps this girl is no different.
she is small and underweight for sure. She is not the only one of late that has struggled to produce a respectable return or perhaps expectable return would be a better word.
So now I am left with the investigation as to why?? I don't believe that it is the strain as she is not alone.
Initially put this down to the heat we have had where I live as its not a common temperature for my climate and has had an effect on the temperature within the tents.
But having looked back at this time last year, are in fact since I started growing. This hasn't been an issue before and we have had similar heat if only for a short time as I remember the same issues of trying to cool the tents. Which actually took effect by me doing nothing and just riding it out, so I have eliminated that as a reason.
This leaves me with a change of nutrients from bio bizz to Gen hydroponics, which doesn't make much sense considering. I wouldn't have thought there would be such a gap between brands of similar content. So this idea is on the shelf for now.
Whilst I think back and think I have stopped doing, which I did for most of the plants, was was using vegetable, potato, water from cooking.
I stopped after there was an incident involving broccoli water. I cannot stress enough that although this vegetable water may be high in natural nutrients, it will smell like an abomination from hell for about four days.
With my last idea in mind I will be revisiting the idea of using water from cooking vegetables and simply excluding broccoli.
