Since I changed my nutes for a homemade brand (I was and still use General Hydroponic TrioFlora Series), my roots went from redish stained to a whiter than white !

it's a 5 gallon which is about 19-20L. I guess it's between 14-16L when fulled just under my plastic net pot!

Why would you want amber trichs? That means your thc levels are dropping. You Ideally want 90% cloudy 10% clear for the max thc and terps.
