I forgot to take pics before I planted these. One is going to be a hydro grow and the other is in fox farm/coco coir 3gal fabric pot. I want to see what a difference the grow medium makes to decide how I'd prefer to grow going forward. I can't wait till these sprout! I'll take plenty of pics. I wanted Loose Pussy, but had to settle for Moose Knuckle Jockey LOL.
They sprouted. About the same time give or take a day, in spite of the different grow mediums. I am going to LST both of them, I've noticed topping makes them grow slower and I don't really want that. I want them to stay with one another, and I don't want to top them both.
I havent done much. Just watering with water 3x per week and nutes 1x per week. I don't skip days normally, but it does happen accidentally at least 2x per week. I just added a homemade CO2 dispenser in front of my fan that I will change weekly. Hope that boosts things this grow.
I have learned this breed loves fox farm and coco mix more than hydroponics. However, they are still both thriving. One is much closer to the light (fox farm) than the other also, that probably plays a big part in it's health.
I decided to mainline the one in hydro. I only LST the other. We will see what yields look like. I am also vegging these longer so that they perform better.
I split these guys up. One I moved to Flower tent 4 days ago. The hydro is still in the 20/4 tent. We will see how extra veg time or lack thereof affects their growth.
One is main-lined in a hydro bucket. The other is LST. One moved to flower a week prior to the other one in the hydro bucket. The hydro seems to be alot happier than the coco. However, now that they're both in the flower tent, they have an adjustment to make.
did a little defoliation this week. Going to change out the hydro tank and include some flowering nutrients. these plants don't seem to like them much, so I'm going to make the solution a quarter of recommended.
the hydro is too tall for my lights. i had to turn off the one closest to it. I bent or super cropped the branches and they just managed to stand back up over time...light or no light. So, I give up...we will see what it does...it has ALOT of free space at the bottom with all this height. No more hydro for me on a pheno.
The plant that I had in hydro I didn't get to harvest normally. It got so tall I had to cut it and hang it from the tent directly. The one in fox farm did wonderful. It was the perfect height and gave some nice end weight. I have to clean my tent so I harvested a week prior to when I'd have preferred. They grew very vigorously. will update with dry weight to include other hydro once they're both dry
