Hello friends!
Starting another diary, as this time I'll try to have the strains separated from each other even though they're all in the same tent.
I changed a bit the setup, as I upgraded the tent from a Secret Jardin DR90 to a Homebox Ambient Q120. I already love it, really nice reflection when comparing both. Looks more resistant and durable also, but that time will tell.
Also upgraded the lights from a MH/HPS 400w, all Lumatek, to a new Spider Farmer SF400. Been running it for a few weeks now, but finally all the setup is assembled together.
On this upgrade, included a AC-Infinity Cloudline T6. Really nice, and silent. Perfect for my needs.
At last, got myself a swamp cooler. It's in front of the tent blowing cold air straight on the plants - on the lowest mode, and at a reasonable distance, as it's quite strong. And effective. RH is already up to 54% and temps are at 26c.
Just perfect!
So, now that you guys have the picture of the setup, let's move on to the 3 little beauties I'll be growing here.
Just harvested the first seed of five I bought recently. The second is coming in a week tops. Had 3 left, loved the fruity smell and the high of it. Got me stoned, and that ain't easy lately.
This plants had a really nice yield (+-300g each in green), lots of resin, and smell amazing to mango.
Seeds were soaked together in a shot glass, for 36h, moved to root riot cubes soaked with a solution of Biobizz Root-Juice, and moved to a incubator let on the floor of the grow room.
They're out yesterday, and will be moved to 11l fabric pots, with 1l Leca in the bottom. Soil was already watered to activate it. In 36h tops will transfer them to the final address.
Will be using the Biobizz line of nutrients, plus some homemade organic fertilizers - beans water for rooting, coffee grounds and water/10% pee solution, ashes for grow, egg, banana and molasses in flowering are a few of them. Trying for the first time.
On the side started composting in my balcony, the containers are relatively cheap, considering I can reutilize the soil, and meanwhile in the composting box, enrich it. Will use only some bones and fishbones, eggshells, banana peels, coffee grounds and ashes.
Will keep monitoring the ph and the ec, so the soil keeps it's ideal values.
The plan is to make a SOG with 10 autos in the tent, so we're set for the summer. This are just 3 of them.
Big applause for Seedsman's Gelat.OG germination rate of 100%. All five are alive and well.
Sorry, one was already chopped and other will be soon. But you guys got the idea.
That's all for this week, thank you for reading!
The 3 were taken today from the germination box, transferred to the final 11l smart pots.
Soil was activated 36h ago with light watering (1liter/pot)
Using some food containers to give them more height, as 2 of my older plants still want to live another week, and that's affecting a little my plans with the lighting.
Tomorrow first feeding, just plain ph balanced water, little roots juice for the extra kick, together with some coffee and beans water.
I'm smoking the older sister of this strain and is really really nice mango sorbet flavor. First time ever I get to taste real fruit in weed. And I mean proper mango stuff.
Looks like the plants enjoy the cooler environment and the extra humidity.
See you next week
One more week is now finished, let's have a look as what happened during this last 7 days and nights
Used the weekend to make a nice big cleaning, it'll be good for the next couple weeks. Can't say enough times how important it is to keep it all clean and mess free.
They reacted well to the pots, from germination box - now that's been over a week can affirm that.
Nice growth, they're enjoying a lot the coffee/chickpea tea with Co2 tabs and the nutrients from BioBizz as it shows in the pictures.
The feeding chart's been the following:
200ml water on plant 1 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - Total this week 600ml water
200ml on plant 2 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - Total this week 600ml water
200ml on plant 3 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - Total this week 600ml water
Temps and RH are very stable, which is great. 27c day 60%Rh, 24c night 71%Rh.
That's all for now, next week there'll be more.
Have a nice week, happy grows to all, and better smoke :D

Used the weekend to make a nice cleaning again - I like to take all from the tent and clean on Sundays. Gives a good feeling.
Nutrients were changed, dropped the root juice and added bio grow and fish mix
Now that they're all topped and growing like beasts, they're ready for the pre-flowering stage. Another week of veg ahead
Plants look all very similar in size and structure, but totally different from the previous time I've grown them as I didn't topped them back then.
Very curious to see how they behave, as my last time with them was a great crop.
And by looking at them there and this ones now, goes a long way. The setup is different and better, the temps are lower and RH higher, and the VPD ratio is very satisfactory. The learning curve is also exponential, and without that probably would still doing the same mistakes from the past.

Last week of veg, first signs of pre flowering. Will be giving the same 'week 2' chart from biobizz
Been feeding her nutes every 48h
Temps and RH
Day - 27 / 60%
night - 24 / 70%
Foliage looks good and super green, no weird spots. Huge leaves I must say!
Stems are strong also, and that a good base to get started
The only downside on this ferts is the smell, kinda stinks a bit shitty when using it, but if all the problems in the world were that small...
Hey guys!
New week, here we are!
As always, every Sunday is cleaning day. Took everything again from the tent, washed the saucers.
Was also time to cut down some leaves as it was starting to look very bushy and hard for the light to get through it.
During that time, came across with some bugs under the foliage, which isn't a great sign for sure. Not to mention the fruit flies that moved in and are making my life a little chaos.
This was the strain most attacked by the flies, and those bugs that live under the leaves.
Reducing now the RH a bit, and watering now on every 72h instead of 48h to keep the grow as dry as possible. Increasing the ventilator speed was another attempt, it so much air circulating should be hard for them to make a living inside. Just put now more of those fly traps and will add a couple glasses of cider vinegar here and there, as it attracts most of the flying things with success.
Note that some plants are yellowing and that's never a good sign.
Though for few weeks it was Nitrogen deficiency, but after increasing it and the CalMag values, the problem persists, so I'm inclined for something bug related.
Besides that, temps are still very stable, RH was changed, now to 40% tops, and the light went a little lower to get it closer to the plants - always with the light burn effect in mind. 40cm is the line between the tops and the lamp.
Flowering is looking good, buds are forming well and seems that's gonna be a good ending if I can keep the bugs under control.
They're showing the first signs of flowering, so we decided to switch already the nutrients in the last feeding of the week.
That's all folks, have a great week
