Soaked all 5 in some PH water and sat in dark warm area. After 36 hrs transferred to heated soil and loosely covered. I gave a look see this morning and poked at the soil of the last one that didn’t pop yet and she germinated but hasn’t shot up just yet. 100% germ rate I can’t complain. Just excited to get this going!! My first from seed run this will be amazing!!

I’ll add all my nutrients but still using general hydroponics. Used the micro grow and bloom plus some floralicious and armor si with flora blend (I think) and diamond nectar. All the girls are looking super happy and healthy!! Cant wait for another week or 2 and I’ll start training and topping. Going to go with nugbuckets style mainline and probably make 4-8 colas each plant will see how vigorous they are and bouncing back from stress to see how I will play it. Til next week y’all growin fam

Letting these Alaskan Purple ladies really just root themselves and kind of get settled in. I do believe I’ve been over-watering from the beginning and it has caused little gnats to start flying around from the soil being moist constantly a I will start azamax tonight on a weekly spraying then moving towards a bi-weekly preventative spraying til flowering. Other than the overwatering situation this strain is proving themselves to be quite vigorous. I’m liking everything I’m seeing so far and I will be looking forward to mainlining them in the next week or so. Hope y’all enjoy the pics and I can’t wait to update next week with more pics and info. Stay tuned and happy growin yall

I gave the girls a good haircut!! They were all mainlined proper...down to node 3 from node 5/6. I topped off the rest of the pots w some fresh canna-terra plus. I think I fucked up tho bc I added neutrinos to the water after I added the new soil (which I think had ferts in it already) so NOW they’re not looking very happy. Any help would be appreciated thanks y’all

Gave them all haircuts then topped off w new soil in the pots on Sunday night. Watered w nutrients but then today they looked like this!! They’ve gotten progressively worse since Monday morning so I’m thinking possibly a nutrient lockout? I watered just now w flora-Kleen

This week was interesting! Still don’t know if the issues I were having was bc of overwatering (I water ab 2 cups every 3 days or so when soil meter gets to around 3-4) or if it was a neut burn from adding soil to the tops of the pots and watering w neuts. I flushed this past week with flora-kleen and looks like that was a move in the right direction. Unfortunately it did look like it stunted one plant but the other 4 are taking off!! I will prob switch to a nebula mainline for the dwarf plant so it’s less stress on her but the others are proving to react well to adverse circumstances. So this week I will be tapering back to a full neut cycle. They’re also letting go of some good smells in there I j is it’s super early but it’s a slightly different (but very good) satisfying weed aroma. Just exciting shit happening over here lol happy farmin y’all and I’ll check in next week!!

This week has been a weird one! 4/5 of the girls are exploding after the haircuts I gave to them and the 5th one is just short and stubby!! Maybe I stunted it’s growth by stressing it out or just the weakling of the bunch by far! But they do sure look pretty sexy for my second mainline attempt if I had to say so myself lol in ab 1 week I’ll start a very slow switch to transition and drop down to 17hrs. I’ve heard the slow switch gives the plants that late bloom trigger that makes the trichs go wild!! 😜 lmk any secrets y’all got I’m will to try and b open. Til next week y’all happy farming 💨 🌲

Been a weird super busy week at my place!! Not much time to update but wanted to. Pics of the girls dropping was bc I’m trying to starve them some before watering bc I’m not going to do that again!! And it’s crazy how short the one is compared to the other!! Pulling different genetics from each strain I believe is my only reasoning but it’s got the most color and looking super sexy!! I wouldn’t be mad if all the plants were that short and gorgeous. Well til next week happy farming y’all!! Also on a side not I made some killer fresh frozen live rosin!! Fuckin yum yum

The ones that have stretched....stretched far as you can see. The ones that didn’t look super great just stocky. Everyone got the same treatment just saw a few react differently. Tried to lst under the net some more but they literally jumped and I couldn’t get there in time. They all look super healthy and amazing and throwing some great smells. I’m currently dropping from 14 to 12 but I always do a very slow drop so that it doesn’t stress the plants out too much. I feel like it really helps with the last push at the end of life. Check em out and let me know what ya think!!

Hey there fellow farmers!! Been a super busy last 8 days got pulled in on some projects so it took away from my ladies. But as you can see they’re doin well!! I gave them a big defoil today bc I need to slow down the bigger ones so the 2 smaller ones can hopefully try and catch up. Plus I don’t have much more room for them to grow vertically. It’s crazy to see the different phenos and traits from the same strain as you can see some more sativa in the larger ones compared to the 2 smaller they’re appearing more indica. This is why I like the idea of being able to see differences between the same strain grown under the same conditions but have different end results. I love growing to supply myself but I also think it’s a plant we still have yet to learn soo much from!! Til mext week yall and happy farming!!

Leaves turning yellow on just the larger 1s, same feeding schedule of gh products. Maybe nitrogen or calmag deficiency? 1st time this has ever happened esp w them all being the same strain would figure they would be good w the same-ish nutrient guideline. Ne ideas appreciated ty

Larger plants = larger need for nutrients. Look to me like they need nitrogen, try giving them a couple of feeds with grow nutrients, instead of bloom nutrients, and see if the new growth is greener and the plants pick up. This will not affect their flowering in any sort of negative way. Hope this helps,......... Organoman.

Flushed HARDCORE this week!! Ladies are not looking well nor do they seem like they’re reacting to the flush well either!! Almost seems like they’re locked out but also having deficiencies! I could use some advice on this. 3/5 of the taller plants have yellowed out and the other 2 look great!! Pretty much all the same watering and neuts. I think the issue was that I’m using fabric pots and not allowing enough penetration to the bottom and it created a salt pocket. Correct me if I’m wrong Updated a few more pics of the deficiency/lockout issues all the help is appreciated thanks to everyone whose chiming in and helping!! Y’all the real deal!!

Neut lockout/Deficiency? I was watering less more frequently in fabric pots. I believe it created a lockout in the 3 taller plants by not allowing more run off of water. Correct me if I’m wrong there but what do I do now? They are not looking well and now the leaves are curling

So your about half way through flower if not past half way. Your growing with a 50/50 mix coco/soil. I don't have much experience in mixing the 2 media but according to the diary your feeds have always been a ph 6.5. So when its just coco the ph range is 5.5 to 6.5 soil ph is 6.0 to 7.0. I would be tempted to lower you ph to 6.0 and hopefully it should let more nutrient be available to the plant. Also have u made sure you have run off and check the ph and ec from it.

Still doing some serious recovery from the stresses I’ve done or she’s put herself through. Besides the color these ladies are smelling amazing!! Throwing some purple colors and every plant has its own smell. Kinda interesting since they’re all the same strain but appealing to see final notes of flavor. Can’t wait a few more weeks to harvest as even with the deficiency I still have some pretty monster colas!!! Happy farming everyone and drop some love or feedback appreciate all of it!

Well…these ladies have me always guessing! TYPICAL! Lmfao also growing a newer strain so I’m glad to be a part of it all. They’re def chunking up and showing signs of massive purpling on just a single plant. The other 4 aren’t quite there. Let me tell you though, the shorter one DEF have a berry/gas smell compared to the taller more sativa-like plants which have such a peculiar bud structure. Either way both looking awesome and quite surprised as to how they bounced back and are chunking up quite nicely. I’ll be expecting to use my ripening dry kool bloom next few waterings then flush time for the yum time 🤤 💨

This was such a crazy strain to grow w little to no information. It has so many different phenos it hard to tell what you’ll get. Some plants were more sativa and others were indica. Either way the buds were fluffy and had some density to them. Flavor was all over the place with some berry, some gassy, and some almost like a train wreck. Such a weird but lovely strain I’ll be growing it again to master it since it was such a challenge. Kind of finicky when it came to the neuts but I pulled at the perfect time amd cured it well so it payed off in the end

Deficiencies are the worst bro. So many Deficiencies look similar to others. It kinda looks like it's underfed. It's sucking the nitrogen from the leaves to get the nitrogenit needs or calmag deficiency. Quantum board LEDS are brutal for calmag deficiency. What soil are you using and do u use tap water or bottled water?

@DreamIT, tbh I believe I have been ph’ing levels to 5.6-5.8, and haven’t done a great job at watering fully to allow run off due to the fabric pots (I had issues before with overwatering so I think I’m switching to regular pots) on the next water I will use neuts and check tds before and after in each plant and compare. I will update you on that as I will probably water tomorrow or the next day. I will send you pics or update this week with closer pics of leaves.

DreamITcommented4 years ago
@Rando1314, I tell you what I would do personally, then eventually we will evaluate other solutions. It could absorb badly due to the pH, in flowering it is better to keep to 6.2, which improves the absorption of nutrients. another thing you could do is measure the drain water to understand what is happening inside the jar, if you have a TDS reader (20 euros from amazon pH and TDS reader). Then I see that you use products from different brands, have you used them in the same way in other crops? can you take some pictures more closely to the leaves to study them better? 👊🤘🦄
Rando1314
Rando1314commented4 years ago
@DreamIT, yellowing on the plant except for bud sites on just the 3 larger plants. Thinking it’s a deficiency bc I flushed w flora Kleen and it got worse. Pots are drying out slowly so it might also have been a slight lockout. Some ppl have told me to go in a the neuts slow some have said to just straight water. I’m nail biting over here lol

You ever try promix hp soil? It's awesome. No fertilizer at all in it so plants only feed off what you give em so you don't have to worry about nute burn. It's pretty cheap too. I'm in canada and it's usually $40 for a big compressed brick. If anything I add the all purpose Gaia green 4-4-4 just for a boost

@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, I’m trying something new to help with drainage and hopefully keep pests out of my pots in addition. I have a nice little aeroponic setup I want to start growing in but haven’t done any veggies and that how I want to experiment first.
Rando1314
Rando1314commented4 years ago
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, I have not I’ve been using the canna coco/soil mixture but I think next run I’m going to use 25% soil mixture on the bottom and mostly coco 75% up the pot so I can have better drainage and air flow. Hopefully this won’t happen again
