i'm already week 3 into flower but this strain was unknown to me until now it's brain cake by ripper seeds, i'm re-doing the diary because my last diary for this i had labeled as "unknown" and want my diaries accurate, this plant started out later then the others in my tent by 2-3 weeks so it's just a lil bit behind the others😀 germinated in a shot glass of water for 18 hours then transferred into damp paper towel until the tails were long enough...by the way i am using coco/perlite for my growing medium and using 315 cmh in veg 630watt cmh light for flower, i topped multiple times
well this plant is already in week 4 of flower but had to re-do my diary....back during veg i had a PH problem due to the battery going out in my PH pen....it's all fixed now and doing great,i'll be skipping weeks on this grow to catch up to where i am currently in my grow but throughout all of veg everything was fine until the ph problem, i did top multiple times 😀
week 2 of flower and currently in stretch under scrog net but i will take the net out of my grow area after stretch and use plant ties the rest of the grow only because it's hard to water my plant with the net on manuelly... i will have to get a automated system to feed my plants one day lol😀 remember this plant was planted a few weeks after the other 3 plants so had less time to veg then the others
start of week 3 of flower and stretch is almost over i defoliated the plants and will start transition from veg to flower nutrients, this brain cake stretched so much that it caught up with the other plants in the tent even being planted weeks after the others, since it did not veg as long as the other plants did not as many branches on this one hope yield is ok😬
this one was grown 2-3 weeks after the others in my garden so not as many branches and this one doesn't have a smell yet but the buds are forming great for now today is day 28, i believe this plant is still in the end of it's stretch it has caught up to my tallest plant maybe that's why it does not have a smell yet, i'll just wait it out and give her what she needs👍
my cmh broke the other day so i only have 315 total watts of cmh on all 4 plants now until the light i ordered from amazon gets here should be in a few more days...anyways i will say i made it through mid bloom stage and now i am starting what i consider late bloom stage, i will try to push the limits on my nutrients this week and back off if it gets too much then in about 2 more weeks of late bloom feedings i will start the long flushing process ...i'm at the stage where the small buds get big i hope lol😂
well in about 2 weeks i'll start the flush, got my new light in 500 watt cmh that can be dimmed....also got a 10k spectrum finishing bulb i'll use during the last week for resin production ,buds slowly getting fatter just playing the wait game for now😀
have to harvest 2-3 weeks early because i start moving into my new house next week and did not want to be harvesting during my move,and with my mistake in veg i lost out on a good 5-6 weeks of growth hurting yields majorly,but the plant survived my mistake so it's a strong strain,smell is hard to say like a musty sour smell it's different i like it,i will grow again now that i figured out my nutrient schedule next time i'll get 3 times the yield or more i know for sure ,i made mistakes i learned and i lost out on a lot of growing time with my grow this time but i don't mind because due to my mistakes i was able to come up with the perfect feed schedule for next grow, i am seriously surprised my mistake didn't kill my plants i literally had all my plant in nutrient lockout from my mistake for over a month and still did not kill these plants lol😂
if it was not for the ph mistake i made in veg and if i could of grown it the full grow period i would of got 3 times the yield,but from my mistake i discovered the perfect nutrient schedule thats now so precise i don't even have to test the ph it's been dead on since i made the switch,for now on my diaries will have bigger plants all because of a mistake i made this grow,good company ripper seeds strains are dank and cheaper then most companies, i want to try their zombie kush 😀
