STRAWBERRY BANANA CREAM

Previously on Grow Diaries.... Popped 16th December 2020....Vegged for seven weeks...she didn't look huge but a decent size and was in a 1m x 1m x 2m tent...flipped to flower on 3rd Feb....she stretched and stretched! Added a small scrog to hold them down a bit and do some LST. By the end of week 1 they'd grown through and were in full stretch mode. By day 14 they were about a foot below the LEDs. by day 21 they had stopped stretching but were not hitting the lights. The lights were pushed up as far as they could go. By day 23 RH in the 1x1m tent was hitting 75% with my extractor on 50% . if I have the extractor any higher I can hear it in my other room and it that's the kind of paranoia I don't want. By day 25 I decided to move the grow to another tent - 1.2x.1.2 x2.2m for a bit more room. This made a crazy difference with more room. RH dropped to 55% and it had more room. By day 30 I had to add 2nd scrogg layer for support. After I did this the plants shot back up and constantly needed to be tucked or bent under the scrogg. By day 38 of flower and they're cruising packing on weight and trichomes. The smell is amazing....exactly what it says strawberries and cream with a nice hint of banana. I have had some issues with previous copycat grows with not noticing one plant hermies and screwing the whole tent but this seems flawless and I'm impressed. Currently have N3RDZ and Mac Killer in veg along with a Lit Farms Wild Stallions! Stay tuned! Day 38 of Flower.... Just looking quite awesome with the trichomes growing furiously on the leaves and buds packing on weight! impressed cannot wait to smoke this!

Yo She is just cruising! Still too close to the light but done my best. Just getting so frosty and the smell is literally strawberries and cream....love it! Pics @ day 44 flower I was expecting something to go wrong but positivity is key and keeping everything in check helps too :) Peace

Yo peeps! Start of Week7 day 49 of flower today! Looks like she'll go to week9 maybe 10 as some of the trichs are milky and see some amber but still plenty of clear. Gonna let this one go as long as she needs as I don't want crazy anxiety lol Just put her on Full Tilt for a week and then start the flush for another week. She is just plodding along....packing on weight now. I've added a Migro UV light and I'm worried she'll throw out a few nannas due to stress. It's installed at the top of the tent 50cm from the canopy. It is only going to be on 2hours midday but as the buds are close to the LED anyway so we'll see if the terpenes and oils intensify. It worked amazingly with my soil grow of Skywalker OG. Leaves have curled due to being too close to the LED and having a dehumidifier on lights off. The smell stays with you and is leaning towards strawberry Starburst with a hint of banana :) Mouth-watering! 😜 All looking good so far! Peace

Yo peeps! Week8 day 59 of flower today! Looks like she'll defo go to week9 some of the trichs are still clear. Gonna let this one go as long as she needs as I don't want crazy anxiety lol Started flushing this week with RO. Pics from 31st March - start of week 8. Trichome photos are from 3rd April. She is just amazing looking....smells nice too! At the start she smelled exactly of strawberry and cream....now she is starting to develop her aroma more. I smell slight gas and creamy strawberries but the banana funk is coming through also....I just wanna toke it now!! I say creamy strawberries but it's more like if you put some condensed milk on them! 😍 I've added a Migro UV light and she seems to have taken it without issue. The development of the resin is beautiful! 😜 All looking good so far - plan to chop in the next 5 days! Peace

Week 9 and I think I started flushing too early...top buds are nice and dense mid buds are okay Some of the lowers are frosty as but nothing to them. Gonna keep her going for the full week to day 69 and then chop. Peace!

I believe I could have gotten more out of this strain, maybe it was me expecting more. 6oz of solid bud and 18g of the dankest and loudest hash I've ever made. I would grow this again. I dried this a little too much as the RH was around 45% thus the buds are a bit crispy. RH is @ 48% in the Cvault and added a 62% Boveda. After a day I noticed the terps were disappearing. Removed the pack and left to cure @ 48%. Removed about 14g and added to a mason jar with a small 62% Boveda and see if the terps would change. They did...not sure why....the jar stank of rank buds. Again not sure why. The smoke after 1 week cure was smoother than i thought it would be @ 49% RH and the creamy taste of faint strawberry was there. The high was a nice hard hitting banger. The real star of the show was the hash i made. Fresh frozen mixed with the dry frozen. It simply melts in the Dr Dabber and kicks like a thukin mule!!! 😭😵
