Quick update everyone 😊
The technical issues related to joining the competition should now be resolved. Eligible diaries should appear correctly again, and everyone who meets the requirements can now participate normally.
We’d also like to clarify that this issue was entirely related to the GrowDiaries platform architecture and was not caused by ATAMI or the competition organizers in any way.

Firstly, we would like to clarify the participation requirements: to take part in the competition, you must use Bloombastic in your grow. We understand that some users were hoping for free samples, but in this case we are unable to provide them. Given the volume of potential participants, we cannot guarantee a fair or controlled distribution of samples. Furthermore, the cash prize offered in the competition already represents a considerable incentive to offset the investment in the product.
As for the technical aspects being discussed, we would like to clarify a few points. Bloombastic is a highly concentrated flowering stimulator, designed to be used exclusively in combination with a base nutrient solution. It is not a complete fertiliser in its own right. Its formulation is optimised to enhance the flowering phase, particularly in terms of sugar production, density and the final quality of the harvest.
Regarding its use alongside other products rich in phosphorus (P) and potassium (K), the general recommendation is to avoid over-fertilisation. This does not mean it cannot be combined, but rather that it should be done judiciously, adjusting the doses to maintain an appropriate nutritional balance. On the subject of PGRs (growth regulators), we want to be clear: Bloombastic does not contain synthetic PGRs. Its effect is based on a combination of minerals and biostimulants that act naturally on the plant’s metabolism.
Finally, and very importantly, we are aware of the problems several of you are experiencing when trying to enter the competition. We sincerely regret this situation. After reviewing it, we can confirm that this is a technical issue with the Grow Diaries platform, and is not related to ATAMI or the competition organisers. We have already reported this issue to the relevant team so that it can be resolved as soon as possible. You can help us by contacting them as well, as some of you have already purchased the product.

@ATAMI, So, just circling back on this. You should revise your marketing materials available from official sources online regarding the additive then, as stating it cannot be combined with other PK sources is not the same verbiage as 'generally advising against because of possible overfert'. I can dump urine on a plant and possibly over fert, that is a superfluous statement that is only nominally less ambiguous than 'words'. The word salad type marketing in general is an issue with cannabis. That is the exact reason why I pressed the verbiage! And on PGRs, I won't go further other than noting the addition of 'synthetic' in your response, which is simply good legal copy IMO. The PGR statement was meant more as education to fellow growers, mostly the types who dump kelp extracts over their plants daily then go on reddit to harp about PGRs bad lol.
I actually have heard great things about Atami's line. Last question - do you still think that not offering product was the move here? You are talking, if 500 folks entered, less than 1 dollar per person for competition specific sample small ml bottles with cap and label, then product, production down time, and shipping. Seems like an easy 'include a shirt' and charge a fee for an entry pack to me. Anecdotal, but folks are usually going through a lot more effort these days to get their bottles in front of people. The math could have mathed, at least more so than current participation.

@GreenEldritchGardens, regarding their own scheme, you'd be missing 9 (!!!) other bottles for hydro and 8 (!!!) for Coco.. just for the normal setup.
Think these are numbers you have to respect, a lot of work to isolate and purify single nutrients and dillute them accurate in so many different bottles. Really impresive... just naturally innovative 😜.
Personally, I am just waiting for CalMag separated in Cal and Mag, it's just too unspecific in one bottle.

@GrowerBaal, same here, I already have plenty of products, I'm not going to spend money to buy another product just for a contest. If the product is offered, no problem, we're at a giant lab.

@GreenEldritchGardens, per Atami's marketing materials you wouldnt treat it like an 'on the top' additive like that, but i dont see any reason not to other than the PGRs in the bottle. just assuming it is a same ratio kelp concentrate, but ya never know when they dance with buzzwords around phytohormones

Personally, I'm adding it on low dosage to some of my grows then I can give more feedback.
Also in this blog, they mention that it's not PGR and also that should not be added alone without "basis" nutrients:

@GreenEldritchGardens, Their own website advises against using it with any P or K input, aka basically anything other than the line it is meant to be in. The best interpretation of that seems to be it is more than an additive. Yeah, I'm sure micro-dosing it would be fine. Green Sensation is built that way, the way you're mentioning, to taper off your primaries as an additive. Not that I am repping either of them. Either way, the blog post looks to contradict their own dedicated product page and indicates that is fine usage. Explains why they needed a usage blog post to clarify in retrospect.
Also have to assume PGRs without an ingredient list. They use all the same language. And you could say it is PGR free, from a legal marketing perspective, while also containing legally-defined PGRs, legally... That exact nuance is where the identification of the language I am talking about with their marketing. So, until they say, all their buzzword shenanigans implying phytos is actually just enzymes also in the bottle...you assume phytos because that is the name of the game.
Great place for them to step in and provide details (and samples even) of their product
