Hey @@Growstick and @OhioFarms... stop using the questions page to argue like that... take it elsewhere.... if you don't agree with advice someone has given, say something like "I'm going to disagree with XXX here..." and then give YOUR opinion and leave it be. The growers that come to this page are looking for help, they're NOT looking to watch a kickboxing match.... Grow up the both of you!

@Hashy, after a closer look just look like there is actually 3 to 4 account spamming korean nonsens few days ago that a was a gay lesbian voodoo fortune teller, just look like that's the most random internet spam bot ever, it's sad growdiaries can't keep up with having moderator 24/24 to close such a small amount of spam bot account.

RE: m0use's idea - I think that's a great one! I'd even take that one step further and say that you remain a trial member until you hit a certain number of likes from the community or something. I was thinking myself that mobile (cell) phone verification would work as well - it's easy to make a fake email, less easy and potentially at a cost to go and get a load of different SIM cards. Perhaps a combination of both would be a big hurdle for these scammers.

Without trolls half of discussions would be gone and traffic gone ...
Think the rest is obvious.
No verification will ever happen...
There were old times when you had only 2 questions a month, i liked it a lot more, value and quality of questions were way higher ...
I stopped answering even defoliation or funky questions now, time waste ... i rather text directly to person if i want to help out ...
Even brilliant ideas have dark corners ... the only thing would be very welcomed - few , official moderators with one always online and ready to help ...
With prices GD charges other companies, few students are still affordable in my mind ...
