Bridgelux V Series HD V9D (Gen 8) is a high‑lumen‑density COB LED array intended for compact, high‑intensity spot luminaires. The Gen 8 V9D features an 8.8 mm LES on a 19 x 19 mm ceramic substrate, offered across 2700–4000 K with CRI options of 80, 90 and 97. At the nominal 700 mA drive, typical forward voltage is 36.6 V and typical power is 25.6 W, delivering around 3630 lm at 3000 K 80 CRI, with a 120° viewing angle. The package supports elevated drive currents with low thermal resistance and uniform color over angle. It requires an external constant‑current driver and adequate heatsinking; optics determine beam and coverage. Suitable wherever compact CMH‑class center‑beam performance is required.
