SunMaster Cool 600W is a metal halide horticultural lamp in the brand’s COOL vegetative family. Rated at 600W, it outputs a 5,500 K spectrum heavily weighted to blue/violet to drive compact, leafy growth. SunMaster lists total PPF at 720 µmol/s and 650 µmol/s within 400–700 nm, with a typical service life of 10,000 hours. The 600W COOL (part number 61492) is compatible with standard 600W MH/HPS ballasts. In typical setups a single 600W HID covers roughly a 120 × 120 cm veg footprint. COOL lamps allocate about half their spectral energy to the 380–495 nm blue/violet band to encourage short internodes and sturdy stems. Use COOL for the veg stage, then switch to SunMaster SUPER for flowering.
