Designed for high-performance, full-spectrum LED lighting across various horticulture scales, the SMART 880 features an integrated LCD. This LCD allows users to monitor four spectrums, UV/IR bars, PPF values, wattage, current, and timer settings for sunset/sunrise and dimming. Acting as a master unit or controller, it facilitates the management of up to 100 connected SMART 880 SL units in a daisy chain configuration using RJ cables.
MASTER UNIT / CONTROLLER
The SMART 880 model with an LCD screen serves as the master unit/controller when linked to a daisy chain through RJ cables with SMART 880 SL fixtures. This configuration enables the connection of up to 50 SMART 880 SL fixtures (slaves), providing comprehensive control over sunrise/sunset, dimming, four spectrums, and UV/IR bars through the master unit.
4 SPECTRUM COMBINATIONS
With the addition of UV/IR bars, the SMART 880 offers four distinct full-spectrum outputs for your plants: V1, F1, VS, and FS. These tailored full-spectrum outputs are specifically crafted to support horticulture cultivation at any scale, spanning from the vegetative growth phase to the blooming stage of your crops.
UV/IR BARS for Plant Health and Maximum Yield
Ultraviolet light plays a crucial role in promoting plant growth. In plants, UV grow light (provided by the UV/IR bars) elicits responses similar to those triggered by blue light, driving the process of photosynthesis. When administered in safe doses, UV grow light has the potential to mitigate diseases.
By inducing a controlled level of stress in healthy plants, the UV/IR bars may stimulate the production of natural "sunscreen" compounds. For instance, plants may increase the development of trichomes, terpenes, and undergo subtle color changes as part of their adaptive response.
