Pro-emit’s DIY FarRed Kit SMD Standalone is a supplemental LED “sleep light” designed for end‑of‑day use. It extends a grow light’s spectrum with far red at 730 nm and is universally compatible with other fixtures or previous DIY‑M‑KITs. The kit includes one FarRed SMD Board (66 × 110 mm), an aluminum heatsink, wiring, and a dimmable Mean Well LCM‑25 driver. In pro-emit’s configuration the driver operates at 700 mA with 0–100% dimming via potentiometer. At this current the board’s 9.6 V forward voltage yields roughly 6.7 W draw. The LCM‑25 can power up to three FarRed SMD boards in series on the included heatsink. Physical size is 34 × 13 × 7.5 cm and listed weight is 0.98 kg; warranty is 2 years on the driver.
