Retail specifications indicate suitability for 80x80 cm grow boxes, a minimum hanging distance of ~35 cm from canopy, and a typical lamp length of 30 cm. Construction uses a polycrystalline alumina arc tube within a clear outer glass envelope; the arc mixture includes sodium, mercury and xenon. Rated service life is about 28,000 hours.
