SunMaster’s Finish 400W is a 10,000 K, pulseāstart metal halide finishing lamp built for the last 7–14 days of bloom. The blueāviolet weighted spectrum plus nearāUV is intended to slightly stress plants and promote trichome density and aroma development. The SM.400W.U15.10.0K (MPN 80544) lamp runs on electronic or pulseāstart MH ballasts, uses a mogul (E39) base, and can operate in any burn position. Output is specified at about 410 µmol/s with roughly 95 PAR watts, 19,500 initial lumens, and a rated life of 10,000 hours. In typical setups a single 400 W HID covers around a 3×3 ft canopy.
