The leaves are going to turn a bit yellow and that is normal, it means you are at the end of your flowering, you see that it stops producing the white hairs. And really, for this you absolutely need a microscope.
With a microscope of at least x50, you look at your weed buds and you will see your trichomes, they should become whitish. And they are ready!
When 90% of the trichomes are milky and 10% amber, that's good.
The trichomes are clear when the plant is not yet ready.
If the trichomes turn amber, it means they are oxidizing and degrading into CBN.
And the risk of harvesting too early is that the CBN and THC will be minimal. And you will have less flavor!
It also depends on what kind of high you want, more or less psychoactive.
