Anybody using or has any experience with yeast to fertilize their crops? Yeast is an active microorganism that can be used in gardens for pest control, as an aid to growth and root development, or to fuel decomposition plant waste.

You can find the study online about this. Saccharomyces cerevisie (Brewers yeast) used as nutrient will give nitrogen and phosphorus to the plant and it does not matter if the cells are dead or alive. The final report even showed that dead cells gave better amount of N and P than live ones but both were much better than without it.
