Pruning/pinching

When it comes to autoflower what's the consensus on pruning? I've read that because of the short qrow time pruning/ pinching is not advised. What about bottom leaves, if I remove them won't that promote top growth

firstly you have a Cal def, common in organic growth, second, for pruning, is allowed but more studied than FT because you can't decide when start flowering. you can do one, two times in precise moment of growth, like preflowering (defoliation) or the initial fase of growth like this moment ... don't do both together (prune and defoliation) don't remove more than 10% of leaf covering every time you apply. for defoliate i'm using on auto only if leaf cover bud sites or there isn't enough airflow inside ladies

Defoliation... done right there is no replacement for it on some strains. On others meh not much to do. Very simply the more growth tips or colas in the direct light the better as long as you dont stress the plant too much. That is my opinion

Congrats on your new grow... ๐Ÿ˜ I like to do LST (low stress training) on my autos.... I have tried topping, defol, and the LST seemed to respond the best! Happy Growing! ๐Ÿ‘

There is no consensus among the community when it comes to defoliation there is far too many opinions and it's subjective.. So that being said if it's your first plant let it grow see how it grows worry about all that later. After growing quite a few ladies I'm starting to see a lot of that the ladies do a pretty good job of filling of the top canopy on their with some odd tucking or moving of leaves. Some of the most experienced/veteran growers Iv'e talked to will swear by no defoliation what so ever. Canopy control yes but no defoliation and they get bigger yields then I ever do so they must be doing something right.

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Yes u are right.. Do not prune, pinch, top or fim autos.. Taking leaves off and small defoliation now and then shudnt hurt her tho.. Stay safe n gud luck.. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ€
