had a bad week last week trying to get some of these fast buds seeds to germinate. used the weakest 4 seeds first. 2 stardawg and 2 six shooters. small white beans. and my gg auto freebie they sent with my packs. of those 5, 3 successfully germinated. one of each strain. I proceeded to make a huge mistake when watering them I didnt see a shell attached to a gg cotyledon and it caught the water and ripped it off. so the gg started with 1 cotyledon and pretty stunted. the other 2 seedlings were weak and slow growing. 1 died. I pulled the other and started over with the exception of my freak gg freebie. which is now a week ahead of the others but thats ok. these 4 seeds all germinated in 1 day and sprouted another day later. they seem a lot healthier this time.

seeing a few preflowers here and there. going 1/2 strength on nutes this week due to a N tox from a feeding last week and little salts buildup. theyre still growing like champs through the stress. started LST on stardawg #1 cuz she was lanky and had many inches between nodes. looked like an outdoor plant lol. I wont do anything major there just evening up the canopy a little and letting them grow back upwards. its starting to stink up the tent finally as well. smells dank already. should see some flowers start to develop within the next couple weeks.

everything is going well except they just keep on vegging. looks like flowering might start this week. oh well bigger yields. took care of their N Tox last week and got them on the right track and dialed in. released stardawg 1 from her week of LST except the main trunk. Will release that once I see some buds. Edit: noticed a sulfer and mag def on a few of the plants. couldnt tell they were yellowing very well under hps lighting. treated with epsom salt foliar spray. and will add epsom salts to their feedings in addition to the tap water/ cal mag they already get. they are taking tons of cal+mag EDIT on nute lockout: figured out whats been going on finally. I started reading too much crap again. said to flush at half strength blah blah blah 20% runoff blah blah yOu CaNt OvErWaTeR cOcO bs. I over watered because I read that you dont have to let them dry all the way in coco and that it was actually bad to do so and it harms the roots. well thats crap. they got over watered and got a zinc lockout on a few of them. GG got it the worst. need to let the pots air dry then flush at 1/2 and continue my regular feed. im kinda mad rn ad immobile deficiencies at this stage are really crucial to yield and some dumb misinformation screwed my yields and probably potency. on my one freebie. taking everything I read with a grain of salt from people on here and other forums.

GG is still sick. shes finally dried out today and im going to feed her here soon. hopefully she'll start looking better in the next few days and her buds arent too messed up. also anybody have any clue why my ss#1 is so droopy? definitely not overwatered as its been 3 days since watering and her substrate is almost bone dry. maybe just starting to look under watered? ive never under watered before and I always thought they looked more limp when they are. any input would be nice. going to feed her anyways and see if water helps there. everybody else is doing good and on their way in flower. SD#2 seems to have made almost a full recovery. her leaves wont get any more green but they arent getting worse. I'll take it. over all last week was tough but thats what its all about. thanks to everyone whose chimed in so far and everyone else who is following along. keeps me motivated. Have a good week y'all.

gg has recovered. the damage that was done over the last 2 weeks set in pretty good. but luckily didnt touch the buds. got close towards the end. took 2 flushes to get out all the excess salts. the actual problem was zinc lockout due to too much phosphorus. 4 of my nutes contained P. or Phosphoric acid. I essentially burned them. just overloaded with 1 nute. wasnt overwatering like I suspected at first. as thats the main cause of zinc lockout. but it kept getting worse until I dialed in the p in their feedings. still kinda working on what they each like. the chems in the tent are finicky af. also sorry for the late update last week and this week. idk what GD is doing but the last one took 6 days to upload the week. hope this one updates. id also like to thank everyone who has chimmed in on this grow. every tip helps. thanks guys. merry christmas and happy new years. EDIT: decided to supercrop a couple of the taller branches on both stardawgs to even up the canopy and avoid having to raise my hps for 2 plants. should increase yields. many people say not to do this to autos. especially this late in flower. But ive seen people do it with great success on autos all the way up to harvest. these autos take stress like champs. 12 hours after bending them down the buds are all pointing upwards and still growing like nothing happened. I love cannabis. I'll upload some pics later when I get the chance to take them. dad life comes first lol. have a good new years guys! happy growing

everything is going well. supercrops have all responded well. canopy is nice and even. they absolutely reek. almost all sour and chem smells coming from the tent. with sd1 smelling the best with a very sweet chem smell. buds are starting to fill out now. gg bounced back better than I ever could have imagined. glad I didnt chop her like i debated after all the problems I had. my buds were days from being toast when I finally fixed her with a proper flush and new nute formula. no progression on the leaves in about 10 days and all new growth is vibrant and green. no complaints this week. happy new years.

gg and sd2 both have cal mag def. gg has small buds due to all the stress. but theyre doing great though. everyone is iced out. love this eyehortilux bulb. getting nice chunky colas. super crops are looking fat. hoping I can get a lb between all 5 plants. been running 750w the whole run. thats about .5gpw. think I can hit it. lets hope. the smells coming from the tent are getting intense. think they got about 3 weeks left. I'll harvest each when theyre ready. gg may take an extra week or 2. hope she fills out. everything looks pretty good so far though.

everybody is bulking up nice. gg has thin buds but she filled out well considering all my errors with her all the way from the begining. from the cotyledon getting ripped off to the 2 week long lockout and then the cal mag. shes doing really great. solid genetics on fast buds part. imagine what a beast she could have been if it werent so sloppy. anyways. I have no conplaints this week. everything smells great and is filling out very nicely. still hoping for a lb but will probably get closer to 12-14 oz. thanks for checking in.

Started to flush with cold water on Monday. meant to post on Tuesday but im busy this week and going out of town tomorrow for a few days. hopefully they'll be ready to chop when I get back. as of right now I put 6s1 into complete darkness for 24 hours and I'll chop her before I leave as her leaves were dying pretty fast after flush cuz they were already messed up. but she is ready. over %90 milky trichs and a few abmer. her lower buds are dragging down the branches. probably get around 3 oz off her. other than that everything is going as planned. everybody keeps on bulking and ripening up. next update should be harvest. probably have a full report in about 16 days. thanks for following my grow guys. anybody think I hit a lb? I think about 13-14 oz.

Congratulations on your first auto grow @beginnergrower! Nice selection of strains 😎

Hey @beginnergrower , soiless you want to a minimum PH of 5.8 and to keep it between that and 6.2 so that the range of nutrients can be absorbed, but that's only half the problem i can spot. the gorilla glue is an "XXL" style auto which mean a slightly longer veg and a longer flower period... it also means higher yields though. what i'm saying is that your gorilla is not at all slow for a gorilla, most flower end of the fifth week - i know mine did. Yours is showing pre flower already so that s a good sign. I can see that the second problem you have is a slight over watering - why? because i guess you're watering all your plants at the same time , but the gorilla is a "low maintenance" strain which means you don t really need to water it as much as other strains. if you keep a stricter wet dry cycle you'll see it will perk up and stop drooping pretty quickly. hope this helps bro ! that's it ! 🚀

thanks again bro. You pinned the tail on the donkey. simple overwatering causing lockout. preciate the advice as always. hope shes not too messed up from this week.

Make sure you use Coco specific nutrient E.C. should be at least 1.2 PH 5.8 0.5 ml per liter Cal/Mag and up that to 1ml per liter in 2 weeks Watch out for fungus gnats

Yeah just getting them started thats why I havent watered the whole pots. will water for runoff in about a week or so. I water pretty heavy in the middle right now to avoid salts buildup. but any recommendations on a gpod nute line? i need to switch asap. just using what I got right now on this run. (GH)

Hey bud, I noticed you are missing the pre filter on your carbon filter. Its the cloth thing that wraps around it to keep large particles from clogging your airflow. Good luck with the seeds, be careful with that cotyledon, I had the same thing happen to one of mine but I noticed it and pulled it off with a pair of tweezers.

thanks boss, didnt really know what that was for. and it felt lit it restricted airflow a bit. but I'll throw it on there.

when they get going make sure you have 20% runoff flood the pots when watering or you will get hot spots and salt's build up

Hey there @beginnergrower! Two thing are very clear to me, your plants are asking for a higher PH, and the GG is not happy with a change between week 4 and 5. I'm am noticing an increased Chlorosis(yelling) of the twisted new growth coming out of the GG. You mentioned a Sulfur deficiency .. This can be very easily explain by the low PH restricting the nutrients from being received by the roots. Magnesium is mobile however and effects the older growth (i'm sure you see it on the fan leaves) that's why I don't think its the problem up top. Due to the problem existing in the newer growth the cause is most likely a deficiency of an immobile nutrient such as Sulfur which would be perfectly explained by the low PH. I would increase the PH to 6-6.2 at this stage in growth. I hope this helps you! Be sure to keep us updated! 😎 Edit: Put it down here because it was deleted.

Yeah bro , your medium is fairly dry and your leaves are droopy 👉 It is an under watering , feed/water her as usual and she will recover in 20min or less 😁✌️🏼 happy Xmas
