Hi Guys Sorry to keep bothering you all but please see the pics the leaves are curling downwards and going this colour. temps are high at the moment but seems like an overfeed to me. Curruntly flushing with just 5.8 water for 5 days then will re introduce feed.

EC of 1.9 seems quite high to me, especially if they have already finished their stretching (usually during bloom you go down with the amount of feeding). Since you're in DWC, that should be quite easy to measure though (that's what i like about it.). What was the EC that you put in? What's the DC after a day? Did it go up? If so you're overfeeding (or there is a lot of evaporation). If it goes down, you should be feeding more.. if it stays the same, it's good. Measuring EC is the only way to know what works for YOUR environment. Following what the manufacturer say, is like following a dog-food manufacturers advice of 'give one can daily to your dog' without knowing whether you own a chihuaha or a rottweiler. ;) In my bonsai grow, if i go higher than 1.4 i get lightly burnt tips, so i know i have to stay below, but that's only under a 50W COB (wall drawn 50 watts.. not marketing 50 watts), and that was also during vegging. Did you measure the PH? In the past i had similar behavior (on my chili plants) when i didn't measure PH and EC daily, and didn't adjust it accordingly. I had PH drift, didn't catch it and then the plant couldn't uptake the nutrients correctly. DWC is in my opinion quite easy, but it requires a lot of measuring of EC and PH to ensure they stay happy.. i do it at least once a day.

Well if it's lower on the plant like getting no light at all. This can actually be a good sign in flower and means the lady is dedicating more energy to flowering and abandoning the lower foliage.. I can show you examples from the autos I am growing but yes if they are getting no light this is what it is..

If i were you, i'd start out with an even lower EC, like around 1.2 and then just measure the change over time in the reservoir. In my opinion it's much easier to increase the EC gradually again if they require more, than it is to lower it (when the reservoir is already pretty full). Just like it's easier to treat deficiencies than nutrient-lockout due to overfertilization. Something i didn't touch on before: are you using tap-water (if so, do you know your starting EC?) or RO water, or a mix of both? A warm reservoir could also lead to issues, and should definitely not be dismissed, if you're using warm lights like HPS (which i have just seen you use). In case you do decide to go into LEDs, at this point i think the best way to go is quantum boards with Samsung lm301b or lm301h diodes. I know Kingbrite and Meijiu are good manufacturers on Alibaba (that brings the price quite down) and to my understanding they both use original Samsung diodes and Meijiu market that they use top bin. While i do have a 240w locally bought QB (cost me around 320 Euro), I also just ordered one from Meijiu for about 215 US (and i feel i will have to pay import taxes once it arrives). Initially i wanted a Kingbrite, but they took too long to respond to create the order, and when i asked Meijiu, they answered within an hour and the whole deal was completed within a few hours. Eventually i'm actually glad, as the Meijiu does have a bigger heatsink and - based on a YT review of someone that bought both - it stays much cooler, and he'd recommend getting the Meijiu one. happy growing!

Ph is set at around 5.8 to 6.1 I don't mesure the ec daily so it coulkd be higher for all I know well not anymore anyway but. I hope the flush will sort herr out and then I will move down the ec ratinf to around 1.5 using just base b and pk and hope for the best :) They seem to be growing fine and the bbuds are phattening up so I hope it does not get any worse I am seriously considering upgrading my flowering lights to LED to contain these tempetures and sort the maze of extraction and replace with insulated acoustiic. I'll keep an eye on her when i can its hard to get in there as work is ramped up thanks to covid but I'm sure I can sort it.
