Flowering time meaning.

So, when a seed bank says 11 weeks of flowering time are they referring to first signs of pistils to harvest. Or is it from seed? Sounds like a stupid question but I am seeing a lot of CP autos harvested at around 11 weeks. Think I’m week 6 of flower from first sight of pistil

I was always under the impression that flowering time refers to once flowers start forming after the veg phase ends and not the total time from seed but I’m new and could be wrong.

You actually look quite on pace for about a 11 week flowering time if ur 6 weeks from the onset of bloom

I was telling u due to ur statement I've seen grows harvested of some strain in 11 weeks. That that could be environment. If breeder says 11 weeks flowering that means 11 weeks from onset of flower so when u start seeing stretch and budsites forming. If they were to mean whole grow time they will say from seed to harvest time.

Ok, that’s not what I asked at all. Growers choice website says 11 weeks “flowering time.” Does this mean actual time from flower or from seed is my question? I’m not in a big hurry here or anything just curious about the timing. This particular strain actually states a long flowering time of 11 weeks. I didn’t ask what is extending my time. Thanks...

I'd say another 3-4 weeks. Ur probably looking at grows under 20 hour indoor light cycles which speeds things up alot with autos. Less hours of light a day outdoors is what is extending ur time.
