If the sweet spot of watering is an hour before light off should i water or not. The top soil is dry and start to crisp a bit, can i let the top soil bone dry. my plant is in flowering stage, 5week old under the 150wled and it’s in 5gallon fabric pot

I would just wait until the next day watering at night isn't such a good thing it can cause things like waterlogging and besides most transpiration activity occurs during the day when the lights are on.

You can actually wait untill the plant start to drop from underwatering if you really wanted too. Makes it hard to water thou as it can get really compact and won't want to absorb the moisture. Personally I water right when Lights come on.. Seems to be workin for me! Happy growing! 👊

Hello, friend! 👋 It's better not to water at night, even if the substrate is dry. It's best to water her twice a day. The first time at the beginning of the light cycle, the second time in the middle of the light cycle (with half the amount of the first watering) 👆 Good luck, brother! ✊😇
