Seedling is looking great! I personally start feeding when my plant is the same size as the one in the pic. I feed a low dose around 250ppm.

Hey Janice. Coco has no nutrients, so start feeding right away. Feeding nutrients with every watering in coco really helps, but if you do this, use at much lower rates than what the bottles recommend. For the first week you want to give around 50 PPM Nitrogen, 15 PPM Phos., 50 PPM Potassium, 60 PPM Ca, 10 PPM Mg. Dose depends on the brand of nutrients you are using. If you have a 2% N nutrient source, to get 50PPM N, you need 2.5ml/L of nutrients. To calculate the dose, the formula is: Nitrogen: ml/L fertilizer = (1000 x desired PPM) / (% listed on bottle x 10,000). for eg. 2% N requiring 50 PPM Nitrogen = (1000 x 50) / (2 x 10,000) = 50,000/20,000 = 2.5ml/L. Phosphorus: first take the percentage listed on the bottle and multiple by 0.436. then use the formula above Potassium: multiple % on bottle by 0.83, then use the formula. Hope this helps.

Hello jannis your plant is looking good and as you are in coco you can begin to feed your plant at 2ml/L and increase gradually the dose in the future. Advanced nutrients recommand 4ml/L but it is better to reduce the dose and see how your plant react. After if it reacts good you can increase the dose. This a link to NPK calculator of advanced nutrients https://www.advancednutrients.com/nutrient-calculator/ Hope this helps you. Bye
