Deficiency?

FreshCoastOrganics
FreshCoastOrganicsstarted grow question 4 years ago
Hey everybody, I’ve never really dealt with deficiencies in autos as most of my experience is with growing photos outdoors. Does this look like a magnesium deficiency? These just appeared over night on just two of my larger growing white widow autos. Please let me know, thanks!

Hey Growmie, Doesn't look like a Magnesium deficiency but it does look like your plant is suffering from nutrient burn or too much nutrients. It always starts with the burnt tips and in this case with the last two photos having dark shiny green leaves it could be nitrogen toxicity meaning your plant has too much nitrogen in the soil. Another thing to check would be if the lights are too close it could be light stress. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

Thanks for your response! I’m using an amended soil but it’s lightly amended for the first couple weeks and I have been adding the high NPK nutes at 1/8-1/4 strength no higher. Could it also be a calcium deficiency because I am using ph balanced reverse osmosis water only for watering and feeding?
