Hey bro. I imagine you were watering with a little bit of a high ph at first? Reason for the yellowing leafs. If it were me, I would be watering to runoff now every time you water. Check your first bit of water to see were your ph is at., also check your ec see where thats at. I always keep an eye on runoff ph and ec to make sure that its in check. Makes a smoothe grow. Make sure to let the top dry down and inch between waterings now as well. Cheers friend

I just checked out the run off ph and it’s a solid 4.7 I don’t know how it could be that low given the soil was a 6.5 and the water was a 7.0. The soil is currently saturated so what’s the best plan for this week?

Thanks guys. The coffee was moved around but the pic you see here is just after watering so it’s a but of a crust. It will be removed shortly. I used bottled water at 7ph as that’s lower than my tap water and due to the lockdown I couldn’t get a ph tester. As of yesterday I have a ph tester and some ph down so it will be fed 6.5ish going forward. The big guy doesn’t care what you use, he just sucks it up and keeps growing 💪🏻 Thanks again

Hey buddy :) I'm new to the topic too, but I will try to share the little experience I have made in the progress. Ran into pH problems while rooting my clones, the effect on the leaves was similar to the problems you're facing. (made a picture of the leaf in a later stadium - check out my report 😉) Also I think you need to be careful with the use of coffee ground. If using it you dont want a thick layer of it on the soil, but distribute the powder evenly over the whole pot. Thats due to the tiny particle size of the coffee and its slow transformation into for the plant available nutrients by the microbs. With a thick layer it will be pressed together and create a waterproof layer on the soil. Hoping for the best! Keep it growing!
