SEEDLING SLOW GROWTH I'v checked many things that could lead to it, but nothing make sense. Could this slow growth happen due to the fact that the seed shell remained stuck over the cotyledons for 2 days? (after it came off the firs pair of leaves were smashed with the tip burnt

I can mention like you mention lots of different factor that will cause a slow grow but in my opinion your plant is growing normal you're probably feeling impatient about it but in one week you can't expect to have a tree . As long as you don't overwater them and you're soil is not too hot meaning too much nutrients in it your plans will be just fine until the third week when it will start show probably signs deficiency like Calmag or something else because the nutrients in the soil are being used up because at that point has been using everything in the soil to thrive. The most important component for fast grow is genetics the second component is having appropriate soil something very that allow the root to spread and breathe without difficulty and the last factor is the grower own capability when it comes to training and nutrients.( plants that have the Girl Scout cookie strains in them tend to be not too tall but has very potent and Powerful flowers) Hope this information helps you out good luck with your grow.

Yeah can slow it down, but give her time, she'll grow good when she gets her roots going good. Cheers friend
