The lower leaves turn yellow Is it due to a lack of nitrogen, or is it self-defoliation of the plant? (photos at week 5) I look forward to your advice) Should other leaves be defoliated or left as they are?

If you are using quality soil, you should not be experiencing nutrient deficiencies at just 5 weeks. Yellowing of lower leaves seems to be normal. I am dealing with this, in my C99 outdoor grow. I remove these leaves, once yellow is the dominate shade. It is just a few leaves a week, and there is plenty of new gorgeous green leaves. As long as she continues to grow out new GREEN leaves, I would not tinker with specific nutes to add, outside your regular feeding, IF that is what you are doing now. Good growing!!👍

In my opinion, it’s a nutrient burn or wrong ph, try to check the ph monitor (maybe check plain water if it’s is 7.00), seems to have a strong green colour maybe to much nitrogen! I would give a flush and start with low dose nutrient again!
