Can I close the door of my closet?

My tent is located in a closet kind of room (5x2 meters) and I was wondering if could close the door during the night because the fan is a bit noisy. Will it fill the room with exhaust air/humidity and damage everything inside (the plant, also the clothes that are in the room)?

Depends on your environment really. The best thing you can do is close the door and check in every hour, or maybe even half hour to start, to see how the environment changes. People grow in sealed rooms so they can supplement CO2 but they have very strict environmental controls, you definitely at least run the risk of fucking things up by cutting down air exchange if you are not careful!

@Weedosaurus no windows unfortunately, it’s a sealed room, that’s the problem. The source of fresh air is through my bedroom door. @ZhugeTsuki @ Justa_Retard Thanks, I’ll try to close the door tonight and I will monitor what’s going on with my hygro/thermometer.

Does your kind of room have a window by any chance ? If so let the window open and close the door, should be good

You can get a cheap hygrometer to check humidity, and a cheap thermometer to check temperature.. And then check once in a while to see how things change. - Or you can spend a ton of money on a wireless that either measures both of those, or extra money on one that measures co2 as well, if you want to know exactly what's going on. I got myself a wireless with 3 frequencies since I have 2 tents and a drying closet, and I'm not regretting it one bit.
