Which automatic watering system while travelling for 1-2 weeks (closet tent, 2 plants)?

1.) Which specific systems are proven effective and safe (commercial or DIY)?
2.) Will pH change over days if adding pH +/- to a water tank?
3.) Would you leave the plants for 1-2 weeks with the system running (LED, fans, electricity, potential danger of short circuit/fire?)

Setup a pump on a timer is about all you can do. Make sure you have a fan that isnt digital so it comes back on in the event of a power outage, so your plants and lamp have their air flow and dont overheat. Make sure it's not a chinese lamp as I would not trust leaving anything that turns on with electricity that was built in china. Best answer to your question is have a friend you can trust take care of your babies. Cheers

Auto pots have a great reputation for being able to run unattended for long periods of time...just be sure to have a reservoir big enough to compensate for the plants and how much they drink on a daily basis. Also a timed recirculating drip system would also work...again make sure reservoir is plenty big enough for the time you are gone.
