Truthfully, you want as close as the plants can handle. Different strains have different light needs, the best bet is to follow the manual that came with the light. seedling (30in), veg (18-24in), flower (12-18in), and then fine tune within those ranges based on how the plant reacts to the light levels. Leaf serations curling up and tacoing are signs of too much light/heat, excessive stretching and large internodal spacing would be signs of not enough light. Hope this helps. Happy growing.

hi it depends on the light.
but if your running the mars t100, than you would want a good par value on it. during veg from seed you would want it a bit higher.
24-30 inches or 60.6-76.2 cm and 3 weeks until flower you want 45.72-60.6 cm.
and in flower you want 12-18 inches or 30.48-45.72cm
so they are say the best par value is in between these numbers
so depending on where you are at in your garden. leds are very strong on plants, they give them what they need, if you are too close they will burn your plants and buds.

I had 2 air lines in this 1 bucket. The only thing I did different was take one of the air stones & line I had out of the bucket to start a forth bucket. Could me taking away that extra air be the problem & can I save it by adding it back or is this more of a nutrient burn?Week 1
