HI everyone! I live in the city of Prague and I never grow a plant in my entire life 😁. I wanna start growing some high cbd, low thc plants on my balcony. So I am wondering if I can grow some plants in winter on my balcony...if so can you recommend me some seeds and tips. Tnx!

Thank you for the replies 😁😁 But I guess I will do my first plant on my windowsill. For me it's mainly to start out without any experience material so I can understand how it works and the we will see 😉 looking forward to start my first diary! R.

Hey friend! At this time, outdoors, starting winter, and in your location, it will be very difficult for you: Due to the low temperatures and the light hours your plants will need. Still, there are varieties that can withstand extreme conditions like autoflowering plants. There are Auto CBD varieties. (Low THC levels). Here’s a link with some: https://thgrow.com/en/search?search=auto+cbd I would also recommend keeping them indoors, protected from frost, and near the balcony, where they can get as much light as possible. These plants will be very, very small due to the few light hours, so I recommend putting in 5 to 10 seeds to get some production. I hope I’ve been helpful, cheers!

Here we grow outside in winter but in places where the temps don’t go under 5c. Autoflowers so they are better disposed for very cold temps and short day. You can’t expect a good yeald , less than 1/5 of the summer time but is a good school. But CZ is not IT , but we grow full out, you are on your balcony and only u know exactly how the climate is on it. If u want to grow out and have this low yeald maybe you can do it , but probably u have to put the plant in a greenhouse and maybe use a heater. for several reasons it might be smarter to grow indoors in a small box, such as a 60x60 or microgrowing, the only one is a hair the initial investment which will be a little more substantial (150/200 €) but you will harvest real weed and in a really different amount without excessive expenses in the bill (max 10 € per month) which could be higher if you have to use the heater on the balcony Hope to be useful and comprensive ✌️🏽💪🏼

It will definitely be too cold in the winter to grow, especially in Prague. You could purchase small grow tent and have an electric heater inside. This could be kept outside but only if it’s covered on a porch and doesn’t get exposed to the elements! You’ll also want to make sure that the cooler intake air is mixing with the space heaters warm air otherwise the cool drafts could hurt the plants. The only reason I know this is possible is because I live in Michigan and a friend of mine grows in a tent in his garage year round! His garage is un-heated so it’s basically as cold as the outside (sometimes below -17c) but he manages to keep the temps in range with a space heater. As for seeds, check out Seedsman. They are based in Spain so shipping times shouldn’t be too long from where you are. Their site also allows you to filter strains based on CBD content! They are also one of the largest seed banks around with a massive variety of strains from hundreds of breeders. Check them out, you should find just what you were looking for 😎

If you get low temps like we do here in Canada, then no you cant, plants will freeze unless your patio is covered and heated. Cheers
