Gradual light decline from 18/6 or instant 12/12 switch pros and cons

So I’m going to switch my plants from 18-6 to 12-12, was wondering if there’s a difference from gradually declining the light period or just making an instant switch in relations to growth of the plant in terms of it making a final stretch and final bud size? Thanks everyone

Indoors growers are focused on get the best weed on the shortest amount of time. So the majority ( if not all) do an instant switch, someone also like to do also a dark period to stimulate the flowering to start faster. If you don’t do right the gradual change you can stress your plant to be hermi and also you lose time doing that way. a light that simulates sunrise and sunset is much more useful if u want to simulate the real environment✌️🏽

Hey friend, I found the best way to be to switch to 12/12 instantly. I usually sleep my plants for 48 hours in complete darkness, then start the 12/12. This makes the plants start flowering immediately. Try it. Happy growing 🌱

The plant will like it. Other than that I'm not sure if it affects yields. I went straight 12 and still produced nice fat buds
