My 1-2 day old seedling sprouts are a little droopy. Would this be a symptom of overwatering? I have been keeping the surface of the soil moist with a spray bottle but should I be letting it dry out now?

The soil does look over watered. Let it dry out and then water only bout an ounce of water

Your seedling looks perfectly normal for a freshly germinated seed. If you are talking about those 2 small smooth edge baby leaves, also known as cotyledons, they are your plants "seed leaves" which while still in the seed, they protect the growing tip from where the plant will emerge. The small serrated edged leaves are your plants first true leaves. As you can see, they have come from the very centre of the growing seedling. This is why those small cotyledons peel back and droop down, this is to allow the first true leaves to emerge from the central growing tip. Hope this helps.... Organoman.

Yup, correct. No need to spray mist or keep surface area moist unless you're in a desert @10% humidity. Good luck
